I get that they want to show the salt in the photos, but this is not how they look, there's no caramel sprinkled on top. It is, though, present throughout the candies, and it's just enough to add that little salty crunch to the sweet caramel taste. And when I say "sweet", I mean it, these are ALMOST too sweet. Almost. But they are really tasty. And small - each individually wrapped candy is a one-biter at best, almost just a nibble. With 16 in the bag for about 10 dollars, that makes each piece over 60 cents apiece. You'd probably never spend 60 cents in a store for one of these if you saw them on the counter... maybe a quarter, but in this bag, you're paying over 60 cents each for tiny caramels, which is the ONLY reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5, the taste is great but the value is just not there.

These caramels are visually appealing, with a rich, dark color. The texture is indeed soft and they melt in your mouth nicely. The caramel itself seems to be of good quality and I appreciate that they're made without corn syrup. However, the sea salt was overpowering for me. I was expecting a balanced sweet and salty flavor, but the saltiness dominated. While the individual wrapping is convenient, the price for such a small bag feels a bit steep considering the salt imbalance.

These have an aggressive amount of salt on them that ruins the experience!!! I would not by again. I can handle a little salt but this was way too much!
