LOUD and also, when played at low volumes...commands the frequency range of all sorts of media. music, digital and vinyl, AND great for movies as well.

For my use these are fine. They're connected to an old amplifier and turntable in the basement. They are wired speakers so you must have an amplifier they can be wired to. No bluetooth, USB, RCA jacks. Just wired speakers that don't come with a wire to connect. That's normal for this type of speaker. The sound is better than computer speakers but not fantastic. The 3 star has more to do with the price in comparison to other speakers. For the same price or less you can get speakers with more options to connect to a variety of sources.

Overall, for the price these are pretty good. Thanks to the silk dome tweeters they do a very good job with the higher tones and they also do a decent job with the mids. I spent a while trying to EQ them to get good bass along with the mids but it was hard to avoid them sounding a little muddy in the mid ranges. With a 2.1 amp and a small sub these would be great.

Yeah, I'm no self-proclaimed "audiophile," but I do know good sound. These sound good. I'm super impressed. They gave a way fuller sound than I thought possible with these little off-branders, but I didn't mind! I just sat there and listened, fully disbelieving what I was listening to. They are great little speakers.The material is about how they look: polished plastic on the outside and the super cheap-feeling and looking plastic on the inside. But somehow as a package, they look really good: modern without being distracting, classic while also somehow standing out in the room.The speakers are heavier than I expected, which is a good sign, while simultaneously smaller than I had thought. The drivers are way better than I expected from these things, especially at their listed price point. I'm looking forward to hearing them again this evening.

These speakers are nice, and have good sound if you're looking to set up a stereo system. I was thinking I'd hook them up to my husband's PC, but they're pretty bulky and require equipment that we don't have in order to set them up. They're also a bit pricey for what you get. Overall, they're better suited to a more serious sound engineer than I am.

These speakers have great audio output and the surround on the speaker make it so it can handle excursion. This is a passive speaker so you need an additional receiver or surround sound system to use but you can use passive input to other passive speakers for amplified sound.
