I only have the need for a grinder rarely, and mostly only for light duty around the house. I wanted one that was basic and would not be costly, either to buy or to replace if it broke down. This one is basic and it can handle light duty jobs admirably. It reminds me a bit like the kind of tools you might find at Harbor Freight. I could not find an exact match on that retailer's site, but they have one with lower amps at a lower price and one with higher amps at a higher price, so that makes this one's price comparable to what you'll find there. The one thing I like better about this tool is that it doesn't have any of that weird smell that HF tools often have. This is a fair to good value if you want a light duty capable grinder.

The grinder was fairly easy to assemble but the button to keep everything fixed while changing blades is not working properly. Very hard to change blades because of this. I could have sent it back but needed it for something urgent. Other than that, it works fine.

Great value for the money. I've used it to cut several pieces of metal and to grind some edges on metal. It's worth it for a low cost fixed speed grinder.
