It's a pretty nice controller. The set up via bluetooth for the switch 2 is really fast and easy. Of course you can always use the wireless dongle too. The charging base is pretty cool with the ambient light coming from the bottom. I will say.... The sensitivity on this thing is insanely high right out of the box. I was caught off guard, it's like past 10+ sensitivity, and absolutely zero dead zone. So much so that the left stick was drifting a bit, but there's a procedure to recalibrate the controller, no software required. If you want to adjust the deadzone or add special profiles and mappings, then you need to get the software. I did end up adding a tiny bit of deadzone back because I'm not crazy.The software is easy to use, but I wish it was a more straightforward app to install. Instead you download a zip file, fine the executable in a huge dump of random files, then just run it- no install really needed. Because of this, my computer thought it was a virus, but I ran it anyway. (Hopefully it wasn't a virus). 8BitDo could do a little more to polish the app and make windows treat it as less of a threat. Other than that, it's a great controller for the money. I'm a huge fan of 8bitDo products. Maybe it's a tad light / could be a little heavier, but it feels just as good as it needs to be.

Love it! If you have a Switch you'll love it even more than me. I only use it with my PC, and it works great in both Bluetooth and 2.4GHz mode. I really like that the 2.4GHz dongle comes installed (and is removeable from) the charging base. If you plug the charger in to your computer, it doubles as the receiver! My only issue is the XY and AB button labels being reversed (because it's meant to be usable with a Switch) but they're easily remappable and it's fine if I don't look! haha I'm sure I could find some stickers to cover the buttons.

I've used 8BitDo controllers before, but this is the first own I've owned. I bought it for docking mode on my Switch 2 and so far it's working great. It's comfortable in my hands, and I love the pop of color (Yellow) against black of the console and my other devices. At $20 cheaper than the the official Pro Controller, I will definitely look into 8BitDo products in the future.A firmware update is needed to work on the Switch 2. I couldn't update it using my MacBook. I downloaded the MacOS version of the Ultimate Software V2 but the controller wouldn't be recognized. I had to use a Windows laptop to get the firmware update. Since than, there have been no issues connection to the Switch 2.

As a controller these things are great. They feel good and work great. Best controllers I've tried and I've tried loads.I'm currently using a pair of them with the Switch 2 and the only criticism is it can't wake the console. From what I understand this is a Nintendo problem and not a problem with this controller. Once the Switch 2 is on the connection is instant and super stable.As I need to I'm sure I'll be replacing all my controllers with these.

Unusable. I thought this would be a PC controller with gyro, but instead it is either a regular Xbox controller, or an almost non functional switch pro controller. In switch mode, the only way to use gyro, it constantly disconnects, you cannot map the buttons without it resetting them all the time, the gyro barely works and it's a mess. I already have Xbox controllers and if I wanted a switch pro controller I could have bought one. This thing is worthless and a waste of my money and literally hours of my time troubleshooting

Great build and wonderful controller. This works great for the Switch, Switch 2, and my PC with no issues at all. This will not wake up the Switch 2, though no third party controller will. Switch 1 controllers won't either, so no negatives for that.

Works very well. Very smooth analogous sticks and slightly lighter then the first Gen controller.
Better than Pro-controller in every way
Wow, it exeeded my expectation in every matter. Tested it for both Switch and Switch 2 and so far it's the best controller i've ever played with on Nintento. D-Pad is much-much better that the one on Nintendo Pro-Controller, buttons are perfect size and snappy. Everything is just top-notch.So if you're thinking about buying a better alternative to Pro-Controller, look no further. Highly recommended product, worth it's money.

Es el segundo mando que tengo de la marca pero el primero de este estilo. Es un mando de calidad altamente configurable pensado tanto para Nintendo Switch como para PC tal y como demuestran sus gatillos adaptables.Personalmente no soy fan del layout de las palancas asimétricas pero en general es muy cómodo aunque quizas no tanto para los juegos donde la cruceta es vital (Lucha, scroll 2D...) pero eso es cuestión de gustos.La base de carga incluye el dongle USB que no es necesario sacar pues si conectas esta al PC actúa como un hub.Y como guinda del pastel, el vendedor Aknes incluye dos protectores para las palancas. ¿Que mas se puede pedir?👍 Lo bueno• Configuración total (Remapeo de los controles, zona muerta del stick)• Base de carga con dongle• Fidelidad con el Pro controller de Switch 2• Protectores para los sticks incluidos👎 Lo mejorable• Es una pena que no se puedan asignar teclas del teclado a los botones adicionales.📢 ¿Lo recomiendo?• El único motivo para no comprarte este mando es que prefieras el mando oficial.

Avendo già altri prodotti volevo prendere assolutamente questo ultimate 2 per la mia switch 2. Il controller in questa colorazione è davvero bello, rispetto al modello precedente migliora il D-Pad i tasti superiori e anche gli analogici. Adesso è possibile anche settare dei led che sono attorno gli analogici davvero un prodotto top ad un prezzo corretto, per usarlo su switch 2 è necessario un update software tramite il software 8bitdo ultimate V2 funziona perfettamente sulla mia switch

This is my second 8BitDo controller—excellent build quality, ergonomic design, and a fair price. It works flawlessly on the NS2 via Bluetooth, with no dongle required. Beautiful "DK Bananza" edition ;)Cons:The buttons are a bit noisy, and it doesn’t support wake-up for the NS2.
