Strong RTD PRE WORKOUT
This might be the best RTD PRE WORKOUT DRINK I have ever tried, awesome pump crazy energy. No crash will buy again.
Pretty good
This is very potent. I drink 2 energy drinks a day for work(C4 & maybe a Ghost or Alani Nu) & with this I only need 1. It does give you that itchy feeling where you cant sit still & I can only sip it instead of drinking it all one time. Taste is good but does have a little sour candy kick & no carbonation.
Flavor
Really great taste, not for daily drinking.Got sick of them really fast, very similar to sour skittles.

After healing from a muscle pull, I am back at the gym. As I had heard a lot about RYSE pre-workout drinks, I decided to pick up the Baja cooler variety. To prepare and energize me for my workout. This bottle contained 325 mg of caffeine, 3.5 g of beta Alaline and 6 g of L – CITIULLINE. The big thing for me was that it has zero sugar. The Baja cooler flavor is very lime forward. The reason I took off one star is because I do find it a bit artificially over sweetened and a bit syrupy. I do fine. I like better when I dilute it with water. They do give me plenty of energy. I usually just fill a large yeti cooler cup with the 12 ounce bottle of this drink and fill out the rest of the way with water.

I really enjoy the lime flavor; it balances out the sweetness with a pleasant sour note. The best part is that it’s ready to drink. I usually keep a bottle in the fridge so I can have a cold one before my workout. The effects are comparable to other pre-workouts: it gives me a noticeable energy boost and a slight tingling sensation. The product is made in the US and it arrived with about 18 months of shelf life.
Definite energy, but flavor was sour
I tried this as an alternative to pre-workout mixes and I love the convenience of just grabbing one and going.However, by the time I got to the end of the pack, the taste had really soured (both literally and figuratively) and it was hard to get down.The price point is also higher than the powders. I would consider it again as I did feel the energy it gave me, but I would try a different flavor.

This review is for the RYSE up brand of pre-workout drink (Baja cooler flavor, 12pak, 12oz bottles). I've been sampling a number of pre-workout drinks lately. The mostly have similar ingredients including caffeine, and tend to be sugar free. However, most either taste bad, have a nasty aftertaste or both. Not this stuff. It's got a good lemon lime flavor without any aftertaste. I can happily slam the 12oz bottle and be on my way to good pumps. Highly recommend.
