I’m not a matcha expert myself, but everything in the set seems well-made and durable. The bamboo whisk is easy to grip and does a great job frothing the tea, and the ceramic holder is a nice touch to help it dry properly and keep its shape.The mesh strainer and measuring scoop make it simple to get a smooth, lump-free cup every time, and the included Chashaku adds a nice traditional feel. Very nice set, has everything you need to start as a beginner. I honestly didn't know we had to sift the matcha powder. Lol! The brush is delicate but seems like it's good quality. I've been rough with mixing matcha before and I have yet to break one of these. The brush holder is a nice touch for when someone asks for an additional cup or takes your cup of matcha and you need to make more. I do wish the brush came with its own storage to prevent dust when I don't make matcha for months and it's just in the cupboard. Other than that it's a great set!

I am new to making matcha and tea with a whisk. This was a nice set to get started with. I liked how it didn’t include a bowl since I wanted to use my own, but needed some of the other stuff. It seems like it’s fair quality for the price. The sieve was finer than the one I had which allowed for the powder to be finer. The whisk smelled like bamboo. I did not notice any chemical smell. I soaked it in water and it expanded a bit. A few pieces came off from before, but nothing while whisking.

This is an inexpensive kit of great quality that provides the essentials to make a great cup of matcha the traditional way. I really like having the steel dosing spoon which eliminates the need for a scale and allows for quick measurements. The bamboo whisk and spoon are both made of natural bamboo and good quality. Make sure to soak the whisk in water to soften it before using it each time.Note: the matcha can in my attached picture is not a part of this kit.

Extremely disappointing product. Not only did the package arrive in rough condition the kit itself was missing multiple parts. The whisk is extremely brittle and may have been compromised in shipping too.
