I would have returned the vase but got busy and waited to long. The puzzle pieces would not stay together because most were flat and not curved which they needed to be to stay together. Purchased for my wife and she finally gave up when it kept falling apart. If you purchase one maybe you have better luck.

My Mom loves hummingbirds, so I ordered this as a future gift for her. All of the components are made of thick, sturdy plastic, with smooth texture and well defined shapes. There's an inner, cylindrical container that is concealed inside and allows you to put water and real flowers in the vase. The black stand is also plastic and measures 4 x 4 x 1.5 inches. Each puzzle piece has a specific letter/number molded into the back, and they are referenced in the small instruction sheet. The graphics are black/white/grey and brief, but enough to show the exact placement. Or this puzzle can be done without the instructions, for an added challenge. It comes in a photo covered, thick box and makes a fun gift for ages 8 - 10 and up through adults, depending on the skill level of the assembler.

I’ve given this as a gift and feedback has been they truly like it and the process of putting together was fun. I recommend as a simple but fun gift that can be used as decor for any room

My mother loves the look of the puzzle….she has put together over a 100 1000 piece puzzles, but as mentioned in several other reviews the puzzle pieces kept popping out. It was a challenge for my 81 year old mother, but she was able to finally finished it!

i thought, oh, 160 pieces. how easy. not easy. challening and a wonderful vase when you are done. i recommend. includes a water tight vase for inside so you could actually use it for a vase.
