Great product but sent back did not fit my color

This "paper" is perfect for surfaces that aren't perfectly flat. (I hesitate to call it paper, because the whole thing is a giant peel and stick pad.) I installed it as an accent above my medicine cabinet where the wall was in poor shape, and the surface of the paper is still highly flat and reflective. Combine that with its thickness, and it looks a lot like one big 10" x 36" tile up there. Of course, touch it and the illusion is shattered, but it LOOKS good--except for one thing: The pattern is too repetitive. It repeats nearly 3 times over the 36" piece I cut, and it's pretty obvious. Which is a disappointment, but not terrible, at least.I do have another complaint though; cutting the sheet to size is tough. I used a giant guillotine paper cutter -- the kind you'd find in a school -- to make the cuts across the roll, and that worked well. The longer cuts to get my 36" piece, though, I used a utility knife and a metal straight edge -- and my first two attempts were wasted because this stuff will not cut well without a brand new blade. If you're cutting it with a utility knife, change the blade first. If it has to be perfect, you'll probably want to use something meant for cutting long straight lines, or take it somewhere to be professionally cut.Still, it does look good and it is just about perfect for my application, so as long as it doesn't come off the wall unintentionally, I'm happy.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I wanted to give my kitchen a fresh look without spending too much, so I bought this contact paper to update my countertops and cabinets. It has a nice thickness and texture that feels durable enough to handle everyday use. Installing it was simple. I just peeled off the backing, lined it up, and smoothed it down. It’s been a while, and I haven’t seen any edges peeling or bubbling. The paper holds strong and looks clean. It’s waterproof and handles heat well, which makes it ideal for kitchen areas. Cutting it to size was also easy, and I had enough leftover to use on a few smaller tables. That made the whole purchase feel even more worthwhile.

I wanted to like this wallpaper—it has a lot of good qualities. It’s easy to clean, adheres well to the wall, and looks nice in almost any space. However, I didn’t like that it comes with a plastic coating. While I understand the concept—it's meant to be more durable and easy to clean—it just looks really bad and makes the wallpaper look cheap and unnatural.

I received this marble contact paper roll and put it straight to work on my wire shelves in the pantry. The extra thickness—2.4mm—makes a real difference, especially since the shelving isn’t solid. It laid down smoothly, covered the gaps, and gave my shelves a much more finished look. The white-grey marble pattern is subtle enough to blend in but adds a touch of class to what used to be a pretty utilitarian space.One thing I appreciated is how easy it was to cut and apply. The peel-and-stick backing stuck firmly, but I could still reposition it a bit if I needed to adjust. I wiped it down after a small spill, and it cleaned up without any fuss. Using it on the wire shelves means my canned goods and boxes don’t tip over or leave marks anymore, which is a nice bonus.Some folks might find the thickness a bit much if they’re looking to wrap tight corners or intricate surfaces, but for my shelves, it was perfect. This contact paper is nice. I was not expecting it to be as shiny as it is. It looked like there was a firm, plastic coating on the front, which could be removed, but it can't. Also the white isn't quite as white as I was expecting; it shows up more cream when put against a bright white.Although the front is plastic, the silver backing is spongy to the touch. You can peel the silver backing off and it's sticky underneath (still silver, but sticky).The pattern is repetitive, not too close together if you're using on a smaller surface but maybe too close for something larger, like a wall. We temporarily taped it to a wall to see if we would be happy with it, but I think, rolls nest to each other would look too busy for our taste. Perhaps better for us to use on a smaller area.
