This matcha set is absolutely adorable! Everything looks so elegant and well made — you can really feel the quality. The whisk, bowl, and spoon are all sturdy and beautifully crafted. It’s perfect for making matcha at home and also looks lovely on display in the kitchen. I’m really happy with this purchase — it’s both functional and super cute!

Love this set! Nice quality, I use it daily to make my iced matchas. Its been so nice not having to spend almost $8 on a matcha at our local coffee shop!! I clean it right away by adding a tiny bit of soap to the bowl and wash it by stiring it up with the whisk. Cleans them both in seconds. The size is perfect too. Very pretty too

It’s AWESOME!! Matcha didn’t froth as great but I don’t blame the whisk more my matcha but absolutely NO CLUMPS the whisks durability was INSANE and the design is SO PRETTY I saw just a bowl and a matcha scoop for $500+ on Bolo so for the amount of money you spend for the value is INSANE and left my matcha tasting so great!

The set is beautiful and makes a nice creamy matcha, but the whisk bristles feel a bit weak and the wood is already starting to come apart. Still a good starter set, just wish the whisk was sturdier.

More Than a Matcha (not a song) 😏
What a lovely set. It’s a beautiful colour with that kiln-made look (in the best way).Full disclosure, I'm not a super matcha fan to be real. Not knocking it. I've been aware of its health benefits for ages, and of course it's a staple in cafes and wellness products. I understand the appeal, but drinking it straight isn't my thing. I prefer it as one ingredient among others in a frothy green smoothie with a few extras that make it more like... a green smoothie 😏 (if only I had a smoothie maker — need one of those 🙄). And surely that changes the health benefits of straight-up matcha, but, for me, it’s more enjoyable. 🤷♀️Another thing (I'm spilling the beans today), I don’t have a proper dish set, kind of on purpose. I’d like a set of four, but most are heavy and over-sized; and I live in an old rental with shallow cupboards. So I use a few mismatched pieces. The thing is thoug, I cook every day, so I need versatile bowls I can use. That's what drew me to this set, along with the versatility of the other pieces.The company behind this kit is called Clay and Fire. You can see their logo on the mat included with the set. And like the name implies all the clay pieces are handmade, baked at high temperatures to meet food safety standards. No lead or BPA. Also, the kit includes a little handbook, including how to prepare matcha, different grades of matcha, and why you should drink it, and how to take care of the whisk.The bamboo whisk (chasen) is for preparing matcha but also works for frothing milk or beating eggs. The scoop, sifter, and spoon rest also have uses in the kitchen (outside of preparing matcha) And while you could use the whisk holder for other things, it is made to store the chasen and keep it clean, so that is where it stays. ✔️Even if matcha isn't part of your regular rotation and more of a once in a while thing, this is a clearly a well crafted set with lots of uses. Plus it looks nice. 🙂 It would make a great gift or “just because” purchase — like it was for me. 😉Thanks for letting me review it. I recommend it.P.S. I do eat out of the bowl too. No surprise there. 😏

My teen daughter uses this matcha set daily. It comes with everything you need to make a standard matcha tea, except for the matcha itself.We love how you can prepare your drink in an almost ritualistic way, taking your time scooping, straining, and whisking to create a nice, frothy green liquid. We love the fact that by doing it this way you get zero lumps. It is almost meditative in the process.Our favourite part is the whisk stand, allowing the whisk to dry and stay in its proper shape. Everything is easy to clean. The mat protects your counter from spillage, and the bowl is easy to pour. We are very pleased with this beautiful set.
Decent set
I really like the set I got. Everything is there. I recommend practicing a few times wisking the matcha before trying to impress anyone with your skills. I think I get more enjoyment out of making it myself with this set than just getting it prepared.
