Took a second to figure out how to screw the cymbals on the arms but they did screw on. The extending clip for the air vents worked well to get them in place.One of my cymbals had some dents on it out of the box so I'll dock a star for that. Maybe it happened in shipping but everything is just kinda thrown in the box and using a little foam liner would help that. No instructions or anything like that were there either.The cymbals crash and sustain decently but they also need a felt pad under them to dampen them properly. I had some felt rings lying around so I did that and it's much better and more realistic that way,They're pretty fun to mess with while waiting at red lights and while listening to heavier music if you wanna 'play along' a bit lol.They're a quirky but functional product, especially for drummers/musicians, and I can recommend them.

This is a fun little novelty for the car, especially if you're a musician. It clips onto the air vent easily and is bigger than I expected. You can actually flick it and it makes a not-so-tiny 'tink' sound, perfect for tapping along to songs at a stoplight. You're getting this for the look and the fidget-ability, and for that, it's pretty great.Bonus points for giving your girlfriend sensory overload.

I thought this would be a fun and cute item for my kid who is a drummer, and I still think it will be something he'll enjoy - I'm not sure that he'll use it long term or anything, but we like to do funny white-elephant-style gifts sometimes, and this fits the bill. I do have a couple of reservations, however, given the price. First, we did receive two cymbals, but there was a piece missing from the box so that only one is usable. Second, there were no assembly directions in the box. We were able to figure it out, but it would have been handy to have a little diagram to make sure that we were putting it together correctly. Finally, I was glad to see that there was a protective covering on the metal, as it had scratches in it and had protected the metal underneath for the most part, but the film was hard to remove and was kind of a pain. It would have been helpful if there had been some sort of tab to the film from which to start pulling, or some other way to get things going. Overall, I think this does what I want it to (or at least the one does, and I assume the missing piece was a fluke), and hopefully it will be a fun and funny little gift for my kid.

I have found the missing piece to my traveling jam sessions!The floor board of course makes a fantastic bass drum. Various parts of the steering wheel provide snare and toms...but cymbals have been the elusive part. What could make a great crash sound?THESE!They're little sizzle cymbals. Not suitable for a full-size kit, but PERFECT for the car! It's a fun way to keep occupied at a traffic light, in line at the bank, or just a random crash as you're driving down the road (CAUTION: DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK). I even get a little rimshot effect when I put my truck in park.

The MCNULGUR 2 Pack Car Cymbals arrived dissembled in a blank cardboard box with no installation or assembly instructions. Luckily, between my experience with actual cymbals and stands as well as car dash mounting hardware, I personally didn't have too much difficulty assembling and installing. These are toys, fun toys, but do have a surprisingly pleasant "splash/crash" sound thanks in part to the three rivets on each cymbal. They do a fair bit of rattling so I can't say I'll be keeping them up but fun nonetheless.

Once you get them together, these little things are so fun! They do rattle on bumpy roads but they are great for long road trip jam sessions. Perfect for any music lover.The packaging isn't very great though. There was no markings or anything so it took me a minute to realize what it was. That makes it hard to be able to gift to someone. There aren't instructions either and I did have a bit of trouble getting them together.
