They can ruin my day and leave me covered in itchy welts. My normal go to has been to spray myself down with unhealthy chemicals just to walk the dog or go outside to water the plants. I live in the woods so when the mosquitoes arrive, it’s clear they brought all their family and friends to feast on me! I was skeptical about how effective these would be, but several days after receiving the bracelets, i was on my back deck and got my first mosquito bite on my forehead. I decide right then, it’s a good time to give these bracelets a try. I slipped one on and my dog and I took a long walk through the woods. Not one mosquito bite (except the previous one on my forehead). I was surprised that they did not have any oder, that i noticed, but they did well at protecting me. I like the fact that i can reuse these by putting them back in the bag and sealing it. Although, because i did not notice any smell i am uncertain at what point i should replace the bracelet. The bracelet was a little tight when first used but loosens up. This also makes it appropriate for uses on children and adults. Overall, i was pleasantly surprised how well they worked. I am thankful to get rid of the string chemicals that seemed to be my only answer.

These bracelets worked okay for me and my group of friends while we spent 3 days camping in spring, when the mosquitoes in the area are pretty intense. I can't stand being covered in bug spray, and I also needed to apply sunscreen. I didn't want to mix the two, so I gave them a shot. They didn't cause any irritation, but they definitely work the best within a foot or so of the area they're in. My hands and wrists didn't get bitten up, nor did my feet, but the back of my arms and thighs got a few bites. It's nowhere near how much I would've gotten if I didn't have anything on and I think this is a great option if you don't want to reapply bug spray or have a sensitivity to it.

My family used this product when we went to Yellowstone and it was quite ineffective. The mosquitoes didn't seem to care about the scent emitting from the wristbands and appeared to take it like a challenge. The mosquitoes literally seemed to swarm covering our arms, back, and at one point flew into my cousin's eye. The ineffectiveness of the product might not be the product alone - seriously, what wristband product can with stand anything swarming. I think this product would have worked better if I was in my backyard with only a few mosquitoes, but I would suggest if you are going to some place wooded, near water, or just dewy and wet, then what can I say.... BRING THE RAID!

I'm a mosquito magnet, so I'm always on the lookout for Deet free alternative to keep mosquitos away from me. I like that these mosquito repellent bracelets are made with natural plant-based ingredients oil such as peppermint, citronella and eucalyptus essential oils. Each bracelet is sealed inside a pouch to keep the oils fresh so they provide maximum benefit when taken out of their bag. They have a bit of a strong scent at first, but I like the smell and it makes me feel better knowing the mosquitos don't like the smell and will stay far away. Eventually the smell fades and I don't even notice it anymore. I always hang onto the resealable bag so I can put the bracelet back inside when I'm done using it for the day. I find this helps extend the life of the bracelet and I can get several uses out of each one before they start losing their effectiveness. The bright colors are fun and the bracelets fit comfortably on my wrist, but if they're too big for your wrist or one of your kids wrists, they can be worn around ankles and sometimes I even just hang one off my bag or under our shade canopy. I love them, the kids love them but thankfully mosquitos hate them!

I am moderately pleased with these bug-repelling wristbands.They are a blend of herbal oils that have repellant properties, and when first opened, the aroma is quite noticeable but not unpleasant. (Though the mosquitoes disagree there!) I have found them an effective way to minimize bug bites on quick jaunts around the neighborhood on bug-filled evenings.I am not sure these would be as effective during a long hike through the woods since that would be a buggier situation, but they are doing what I need them to do so far.

Deet free bracelets made from essential oils ,geranium ,Lemongrass and citronella .When the bracelet is first removed from the package there is a very strong smell of lemongrass anyone that is sensitive to smells May not want to use this product .Its hard to say how effective the bracelets are without actually being in the presents of mosquitos but other products I have tried with the same ingredients have worked well.The bracelets are multicolored and are non binding so comfortable to ware .Instructions are to place back into the bag and close up for reuse .The price is competitive .
