My thick toenails, which used to require heavy-duty clippers, are now smooth and manageable after a few minutes at the medium speed setting. The cuticle attachment left my nails looking polished, and the callus remover smoothed my heels better than a pumice stone. Charging takes about 2 hours, and the battery indicator is helpful for planning sessions. My husband even borrowed it for his calluses, and we both found it intuitive to use, even as beginners. Cleaning the heads is simple—just rinse under water or use the included brush.DownsidesThe instructions could be clearer; it took some trial and error to figure out which head works best for each task, though the included guide helped. Overall this is a nice nail set with plenty of accessory bits for just about anything you'll need and cordless too. However I knocked off one star as it's a little bit noisier than it should be. I've got a corded manicure handset which works great, but the cord is kind of a pain and sometimes gets in the way so I thought I would try this one. It's slightly larger than my corded one, but not uncomfortably large. It however is noisier than my corded one, so marks off for that. I like to sit in front of the TV when I do my nails and found the added noise to be distracting and I needed to have the TV louder to compensate. Not a deal breaker but a little quieter would have been nice. The overall build quality seems good and the performance is on par with my corded unit, with exception of the speed control. This unit has five preset speeds, but my handheld is variable so I can fine tune my speed to my liking. If you've never used a variable speed unit you'd probably never notice, but since it do I stood out more. The five speeds are fine, but full variable would be better. Beyond that it comes with a nice selection of wheels and files as well as a bunch of sanding inserts, so more options than my plug in model came with. I didn't get a chance to run the battery out yet but have used it multiple times on the one charge so I would guess it would last you 2-3 hours of intermittent use before you need to recharge it.Overall it's a really nice nail and callous system, that with exception of the motor noise is a great value.

This lightweight cordless file set functions well. Has plenty of attachments to cover our needs at any angle. The motor is semi quiet. In use the sound of the head attachment against the skin kind of drowns out the motor sound. Charges easy by using the included USB cord. Easy to use with simple power and speed control. The motor has plenty of power to keep the attachments in motion. The battery has enough life to get us through a couple of sessions no problem. What I really like is the light. It has good placement and highlights the debris coming off the head. Lets us know its working and that we are on the right spot. The overall size is nice and easy to hold and operate.We can see and feel the results right away with this cordless file. Very pleased with it.
