5.0 out of 5 stars A sincere, comforting and life-changing book

It is not just theory, but I also found concrete exercises, questions for reflection, and rituals in the book that I can easily incorporate into my daily life.I loved how the author emphasizes the importance of everyday small steps, imperfections, and humanity. Reading this book was not only educational, but also emotionally healing, as if someone were constantly holding my hand and reminding me that I am good enough just the way I am.I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to let go of the burdens of the past, strengthen their emotional resilience, and live more freely, with an open heart.
4.0 out of 5 stars Comforting
If you’ve ever felt weighed down by old regrets or emotional baggage, The Path to Letting Go is worth a read. The author walks you through healing, step by step, with a mix of timeless advice and real-world tools that actually make sense. It’s honest, practical, and surprisingly comforting. Definitely one of those books that makes you feel lighter just reading it.
5.0 out of 5 stars This book is a quiet little reset button for your brain
I got this because, let’s be real, I’ve been holding onto way too much junk in my head. Regrets, stuff I should’ve said or done differently all of it just piling up. This book kind of helped me finally sit with all that, without making it some big dramatic thing. Just simple stuff that made sense, like, 'okay, maybe I don’t need to keep carrying this around'. Felt weirdly good to finally let some of it go.
5.0 out of 5 stars Clear, helpful, and necessary
This book helped me understand why it's sometimes so hard to move forward. It explains in a simple way how the past can keep affecting us without us even noticing.I liked it because it doesn't judge - it speaks honestly and gives you tools to let go of what you no longer need to carry.I highly recommend it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Practical steps that makes you feel calmer
This book helps me to know what to do when im feeling down or thinking about something bad that had happened. It talks about how we sometimes have old feelings in us and how that doesnt help. I thought it was impressive that letting go can be a learned behavior too just like a skill that someone practices. I thought it was interesting when it said that holding onto anger does not hurt the other person just yourself. That made me think a lot. The book also gave a few simplest things to try like breathing slowly or writing things down when you are mad or sad. I actually tried the breathing one and it did help me calm down before bed. It feels easy. like someone is gently helping you to feel better just a little normal step at a time.
4.0 out of 5 stars Comprehensive guide for releasing emotional pain
This book is a comprehensive guide for releasing emotional pain. It offers a step-by-step approach to break free from negative thoughts and build self-compassion. The book includes exercises like journaling, mindfulness, and using art or music to heal. I tried the journaling prompts, and they helped me process old hurts, much like my therapy sessions. Processing emotions through routines like these really works to let go.However, the book feels like a textbook at times. The narratives aren’t very engaging, and I wished for more specific examples to connect with. To me, it seemed like a collection of articles rather than new ideas. Still, it’s worth reading, especially for beginners who need a clear starting point for healing.
5.0 out of 5 stars Game changer
I was looking for a compassionate guide and this book delivered. I appreciated the personal insight offered by the author. It really made me feel like I was listening to/talking with a friend. Highly recommend for anyone ready to find some clarity and peace.
5.0 out of 5 stars A real roadmap
I bought 'The Path to Letting Go' because I was just...stuck. Like, that mental replay button was broken, and all I could see were old mistakes and regrets. I needed a way to just, you know, let go. What surprised me was how gentle this book was. It wasn't some self-help guru shouting at me to 'just move on'. It felt more like a friend who’d been there, offering practical advice and sharing stories. The author really breaks down how to identify those emotional burdens we carry around, and then gives you actual tools to deal with them. It's not a magic wand, obviously. I still have to work at it. But I feel lighter, more hopeful, and like I have a real roadmap for moving forward.
Great book for people who want to fix themselves
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } The main point i can mention about this book is about how to stop negative loops. I did not notice before, but I have been in this position many times in my life and I did not realize what heavy cost this had in my daily life. this book brought be the clarity that this situation is not normal and that I have to deal with it if I really want to be happy and feel fulfilled. I recommend the book for people who have similar issues.
Highly recommended!
If you struggle with emotional pain or find it hard to move forward, this book is a beautiful guide to help you start fresh. Don’t let the past define you
A really great book leading you gently through the process of letting go of past regrets and emotional baggage so that your present and future aren’t affected by negative thoughts related to these regrets. The author leads us through these steps in a practical yet compassionate manner.
