A decent and affordable place holder while awaiting a bamboo chasen. Also won't mold, and easy to clean. I whisk it in some hot mildly soapy water to clean, and it comes out just fine.

Gets the job done but feels very cheap and it doesn’t whisk the matcha very well. I prefer my matcha to have micro foam because I think it improves the flavor of the matcha but unfortunately it doesn’t do that for me.

Honestly, this resin chasen exceeded my expectations. It arrived nicely packaged in an illustrated box. I was initially concerned about the resin quality, particularly the possibility of it shedding particles, but those worries were unfounded. The quality is really good. It did an excellent job frothing my matcha, and I was pleasantly surprised that it held up perfectly in the dishwasher. This is exactly what I was looking for for daily use, keeping my bamboo chasen for when I want to show off. Definitely recommend this product.

Product well-made and fine for what it is. However, I ordered it in yellow and it came in black. I tried to get a replacement and it still came in black. Also, similar to another reviewer, the matcha doesn’t foam like it would a wood whisk.
