I really love double-wall glasses and have them in every shape & size now. Not having hot or cold hands from holding them is my favorite feature. Also being able to see, from top to bottom, the liquid inside is a visual feast and also reminds me to stir or swirl liquids that settle so I don’t end up with thick goop at the bottom as I tend to drink turmeric and mushroom powder based teas. Easy to clean, great quality glass, good price, large volume great for smoothies too.

I've come to believe that the folks selling double wall insulated glasses/mugs on Bolo have a very different way of measuring than the rest of society.I was looking for a TWENTY TWO OUNCE glass, very specifically for it's capacity. When I got this glass, it looked tall and decent capacity, but not 22ozs. Actually, the first one I ordered came in with a small odd blemish in the glass, and given dual wall blown glass is already potentially fragile, I didn't want to risk it and returned it. The replacement had solid pristine glass walls, so I was happier....but not happy enough...I am pretty forgiving with most items being 'close enough', but when something is advertised as having a specific listed capacity that it then fails to provide...that's a non-starter.I filled the glass and found, first, that while I thought the tapered sides would aid in improving the ability to hold it, I was wrong. It just slid in my hands forcing me to squeeze harder to hold it... squeezing thin double wall glass is rarely recommended. Would it have broken? I don't know, but it wasn't giving me a warm fuzzy.So, filled the glass to capacity...to the highest point a person would normally fill a glass they intend to drink from (not all the way to the brim, as that's not how we drink..unless you like wearing your drink and/or dipping your nose in to your glass as you slurp to lower the level...). Poured that into a measuring cup to see just how many ounces was 'full'. This "22 oz" glass was 18ozs. MAYBE if you filled it to the brim, you'd get 19ozs, but the only way this could be possibly called 22oz is if they're measuring the outer glass capacity for the dual wall which has nothing to do with how much liquid you can fill this glass (inner wall) with to drink. If they are calling out the number of ounces of the cup based on the outer wall of a the dual wall glass, that's disingenuous at best.The actual drinking capacity of this glass is 18oz. Period.

These drink glasses are unique in that they are double insulated. That means drinks stay cool or hot longer, ice doesn't melt as fast, and the glass doesn't sweat. No need for coasters. This type is glass is borosilicate like laboratory glass- think test tubs, beakers, etc. But there is a major caveat; while it is suppose to be tougher than the average drink glass, it's thinner and breaks easily. DO NOT DROP ice in these, slide the ice in on a side. If you use an ice dispenser, it will break the inside of the glass. For that reason I have to drop a star from my review. NOTE: These types of glasses are also sold under the Bodum brand but are more expensive and I don't see them in this size any more except from Asng.
