I didn't think about an inhaler for cravings, but when I considered it, what great sense it makes. We all know that if our nose is stuffy from a cold, food is less appetizing, right? So our olfactory receptors play a definite part in what we crave and consume. What's funny is that I thought this was an item you inhale through your NOSE --- it isn't (although you can, I guess) It is designed to be an oral inhalant - though of course it's all a connected system in terms of receptors. The shape and oral fixation thing would make it useful for someone trying to quit smoking or vaping. This is a USA made product, which I love to support. The ingredients are clean without preservatives or chemicals - hey we get enough of that IN the food, don't we?Does it work? For me at least when it comes to food I can say that if I'm not really hungry just rambling toward thinking I am hungry, this is kind of like a hit of .... well IDK, I guess you could call it flavor to my brain. Brain is like, hm, was that dessert? Ok. Now for me, that's going to come in handy when I have my WLS and have to do the liquid/puree diet, oh Lord.I like that it is lime-forward more than menthol. I don't care for menthol, but I can see where that would be better for a person who may be using this to come off of tobacco or other cravings. This comes in at time of receipt at about $2 per day for the expected time of use to be a month. Whether or not that's a good value depends I guess on what you're using it for, and as always is subjective.
4.0 out of 5 stars Like the Idea, Wish it Were Refillable
I am not a smoker or a vaper, but I am someone who is constantly sticking things in my mouth (namely lemonheads, gummy bears, and atomic fireballs). I picked up this inhaler to see if sucking down the flavor would reduce my chronic candy eating habit (and possibly help me save my teeth, too). I don't think that's going to happen. The flavor is more mint to me than anything, and it's nice, but it's there and then it's gone instantly. I'd have to suck on this all day long to get any lasting effect. That's a me thing - I'm obviously using this for something entirely different than what it's actually for, so I'm not knocking the inhaler. I imagine this would be fantastic for someone who is trying to stop smoking/vaping. It seems like they could safely suck on this all they need to with no ill effects. The one issue I have - regardless of what this is being used for - is that it's not refillable. The product description says this inhaler is good for a month's use - that has the potential to make A LOT of waste over time. This brand makes a point of mentioning that the inhaler uses natural ingredients/substances, so I am a bit surprised that it isn't refillable.
3.0 out of 5 stars Better than others
Good, tight air flow, feels more like a vape than most. Flavor is decent and lasts awhile
5.0 out of 5 stars Helped me break my habit!!
This really is a great alternative to vaping. No, it will not be exactly as satisfying as fruity bubblegum lollipop vapor, but it gives just enough flavor and 'hit' to trick your brain into accepting it. And as someone who was constantly hitting my vape, this lasted me 3 weeks in the beginning-- now that I've kicked the nicotine addiction, it's lasting much longer. If it's the habit + flavor that's keeping you from quitting the vape, this along with NRT is a great way to do it.
1.0 out of 5 stars Heavy and meh taste
Its super heavy and its not even comfortable to hold by the lips. The air resistance while dragging is un satisfactory as you barely get any flavor from it, but almost better because the flavor is nothing to write home about.
2.0 out of 5 stars Absolute garbage
Trash. Barely any flavor no matter how hard you draw on it. Took a few puffs and just tossed it. This is the most pointless thing I have ever purchased in my life.
5.0 out of 5 stars Not a smoker but enjoy the flavored air!
First I need to start by saying im not a smoker and have never been. I thought this looked neat so I wanted to give it a try. I have to say I really, really like this. The menthol opens my nose and gives me a cool feeling in my mouth and the majito flavor is amazing! I'll be interested in seeing how long the flavor lasts. I will say for what this is, it is a bit on the more expensive side. All and all though this thing is awsome. This would be really great if you have a cold to soothe your throat and open your nose. I'll be trying some of the other flavors.
4.0 out of 5 stars Mojito Air Inhaler
I think this is a sleek design and is super easy to pop in your purse, and I like that it is all natural.
