This is so much more durable than the plastic connectors. The connection was tight enough to prevent leaking. We used it to connect a waterslide with a splash pad that we intend to use all summer. If you need it for multiple uses, it is worth the extra money.

The construction seems to be sturdy, installation is as simple as screwing it on. Mine had a slight leak but was able to tighten it up by inserting a few hex keys in the top and tightening. No leaks now.The handles are big enough and turn easy for my 4 and 7 year old to use.Overall happy and seems to be good value.

Leaked badly when I got it. Left a one star review and was contacted by seller. It needed to be tightened with an Allen wrench—normally not a big deal, but it was a very large size (guessing 1/2”) that I didn’t have and most people probably don’t. I was fortunate and was able to use one at a hardware store without having to buy. Fixed the leak, but had to go out of my way to do it and would’ve returned the item before buying a specialty tool.
