I wear glasses and the stock pads would press the tips into my head making them uncomfortable, especially during longer gaming sessions.These pads, however, are made with a more porous foam that's softer and much more comfortable. They are a bit thicker than stock but since they're softer, they compress a bit more while conforming to my head and glasses. I haven't noticed any difference in noise isolation between these and the stock pads. This is actually really good since the noise isolation on these headsets isn't the best to begin with. I found I can wear the headset much longer now because they're more comfortable and they don't trap heat like the stock pads did.One thing that had me confused was the inclusion of foam mic windscreens. The Stealth 500 & 600 series have flip down mics so a windscreen is not compatible with them and I'm certainly not going to go through the trouble of slipping it on every time I flip down the mic. But they should be universal and would work on other non-retractable mic booms.
