Why did you pick this product vs others?:I love the idea of being able to take the end off and unclog my hot-end. Although it seems like a gimmick it actually works fantastic. I did a test where I shut my printer off with filament inside the hot end to see if I could get the filament out. I was able to get the end off with the included tool and clean out the little remaining with my small hex key. Pretty neat. Build quality:I have roughly 300 hours using these ends incident free. The build quality of these seems to be good so far but they are just a little bit lighter than the oem parts when you hold them in your hand. I thought this would be a major issue but so far so good. The protective boots are exactly the same as well so it’s pretty cool they throw them in as well for the price. If you are looking for a hot end I would say you can’t go wrong at this price.

YOOPAI Hotend Kit for Bambu Lab A1/A1 mini, 0.4mm Hardened Steel Nozzle with 1 Silicone Cover Sock - 1 PcsI have been just using this with PLA+, so can't say much about the hardened steel. However, it has worked as expected, and I have had no clogs or other issues while printing. It's nice to have the option to swap out nozzle tips when they wear out, but I have not yet experienced that. The nozzle fits easily into either my A1, or my A1 Mini.Price wise, these are cheaper than the ones direct from Bambu, unless you buy in quantity, and those do not allow changing of the nozzle tip.This comes with just the one tip installed. I was under the impression that a second tip comes with this, because of the picture, but no where in the description does it state that.

I cannot recommend these. I’ve had problem after problem with these. After numerous failed prints, I finally got one successful print so I thought they were ok to use. I started a big project before going to bed and woke up to a destroyed tool head. It’s tempting to save a few bucks from the Bambu brand hot ends, but for me it costed me so much more in damages.
