While I don't see using this often as we normally replace our brake fluid on a schedule, it is handy to have.It works as designed in detecting the moisture level I. Your brake fluid. Quality is on the low side but is on par with the price.For a simple tool, it does as designed.

This brake fluid tester seems to work just fine. I tested the brake fluid in my car and the lights instantly indicated that it had less than one percent water content. To further test this I placed the probes in a bottle of fresh brake fluid as well as a bottle of water. The lights indicated less than 1% for the brake fluid and all lights lit up for the bottle of water. I then added a little water to a cup of brake fluid and the indicator lights adjusted accordingly to the water content. All signs point to this product working as it should.Build quality is very lightweight, but feels good in the hand. Would definitely buy again, but feels like this one should last a while.
