Online orders are always a gamble, especially with home improvement items. These tiles ("Peel and Stick Floor Tile Self Adhesive Waterproof 8" x 8" Vinyl Flooring, Removable Floor Stickers DIY for Bathrooms,Kitchen,Living Room,Black 10Pcs") are a disappointment to me and if they had been part of a conventional ordering arrangement, I would be sending them back for a refund.You can use these tiles like an old-style church fan - that's how thin they are (they bend easily and yes, they flap and do produce a nice little breeze). And a box of 10 certainly does not go far. I had hoped to put them on my stair risers, but each riser would need five (F.I.V.E. -- 5!!) tiles to go across. Half a box! There are five risers. That's a considerable expense for something that isn't thick enough to hold up to heavy or repeated wear. And then there's still the treads and landing to do, but this size would be too small for that, and so I'd need even more tiles. When compared with the quality of a product you could purchase through more conventional avenues for the same or less of a price, I do not consider this to be a good value, at all ($11.99 for 10, and currently with a 10% off coupon). And even less of a value if (when) it needs to be replaced for something more durable. Then you've spent twice the amount for materials to cover the exact same space.I also would not use them on a floor because, in my experience, they are not waterproof. I ran water over a test tile, and the water did bead up and run off. However, part of the middle sections of the paper on the underside were wet, along with the edges of the paper, so really -- who knows how that's going to work on a floor long-term (especially in an area with water usage or people with rain or other water on their shoes).I give 3 stars for this: The design is nice (and this company is good at that -- there's some interesting stuff in their store and lots of chances for creative mixing and matching), and the material is vinyl as described. The tester is sticking (true to the name and description, though I'd recommend an adhesive if you're going to use this for anything more serious than lining a tea tray). Also, if you're using it in a very light traffic area or for an art project or on the wall or on a shelf, it would probably work well there.However, since it is marketed as floor tile and flooring -- and if that's how you intend to use it -- my suggestion would be a hard pass.

I don’t know why I thought these would be smaller but it’s my bad for not paying closer attention to the listing details. 8x8 is really big; definitely won’t work as a backsplash or on stair risers. But will make a very cute retro bathroom floor. Or could be used as a tabletop or decor for the front of a dresser or cupboards. I do love the star design though. Reminds me of old school Las Vegas signs. For the price it’s a great deal. You get 10 BIG tiles. They feel sturdy and the adhesive feels legit.

These are great looking tiles with a very classic design. They are easy to work with, adhere strongly, and have quite a bit of durability. The only downside is that one pack of 12 is not going to cover anything at all. My original intent was to do a landing, which is about the equivalent for four steps in size. One step is the most you will get from these do measure carefully prior to purchasing.

It's these little changes that can really add up! My guest bathroom is small and was in need of an update. This flooring really made a difference in that small space - from a tired, old and more traditional square tile, this flooring perked up that small space and it was so easy to install! I wished they offered in larger quantities like 10 - 25 - 50 pieces so that I could order a larger amount for my master bathroom. Great inexpensive way to make an update to your home!

I actually used these floor tiles to make an accent wall in my living room. I had originally planned to use them to make a wood looking frame around my bathroom mirror (might order more and still do this project). I picked these tiles because they match the current tile I have in my apartment, and of course because they are peel and stick. I'm not able to paint the walls in my apartment.The floor tiles are flexible, they actually arrived rolled up together. It took me a little while and a few weights layed on top of them, to straighten the tiles out. I decided on an accent wall behind my TV. I actually used Art3D matt backing as the adhesive. It's a 2 sided tape you lay out, and I stuck the floor tiles to that. I have orange peel textured walls and Art3D matt backing works great on textured walls. Some peel and stick products either won't stick well or will tear the texture and paint off with it when removing.The tiles are about 3ft long and 6in wide. I was able to cover a nice large section of the wall behind the TV. I didn't want to cover the full wall. The tiles stuck to the matt backing nicely. I did a 6ft section, so I didn't have to do any cutting. I can't say if the tile is tough to cut, but it does seem thin enough, that you should be able to cut them with scissors.These tiles cost about half the cost of the backsplash tiles I was originally planning to use. I'm happy with the look and as long I have no problems with them coming loose (they have been up for 2 weeks), I will have no problem recommending. I will edit my review accordingly if any issues arise.
