amazing quality!
4.0 out of 5 stars Great for Transformer Collector
Very nice for a transformer collector.Don't think I would give to a child.I worry about long term durability of the ball joints and small tabs for rougher child's play. That said for display and carful transformations they are great. The paint is better than Hasbro's transformers.
5.0 out of 5 stars Fairly solid units
I have to admit I had my doubts on this set however these are pretty solid in weapon form. I’m not form they are fairly good. Have not attempted combiner mode as of yet but nice for display as weapons for some combiners I have.
3.0 out of 5 stars Good gun modes, passable robot modes, awful combined mode.
The gun modes for these figures all look great, which is nice. Transformations are fairly straightforward and enoyable. The robot modes aren't bad, given the constrains of the size, but some joints are incredibly loose (e.g., the legs of the silver revolver just flop around and standing is a challenge). The figures are a mix of diecast metal and plastic bits, which sounds nice in practice, but really only serves to make the joints loose, increase weight, and make posing more of a challenge (due to the uneven use of metal parts throughout the body). The combined mode is a complete lost cause, however. The joints that are supposed to attach the limbs are simple pegs with no reinforcement, and the added weight of the metal pieces makes an already unstable combined mode even more unstable. The combined mode is like a house of cards: touch it and it all falls apart.Overall, for an adult collector who doesn't care about the combined mode and just wants a quirky 3rd party toy, this isn't a bad option.

4.0 out of 5 stars Cool gun robots; probably better for 10yo and up
The fact these are transforming robots, they naturally invite comparison to Transformers. So using the *original* 80's, die-cast Transformers (TF) as a 5/5 gold standard, here's how these "stack up" in my opinion.AGE MARKET (1/5). I would not give these to a 6-year old (Kindergartner), let alone a 4-year old. Primarily, I wouldn't give a 6yo realistic toy guns to begin with, regardless of your stance on firearms. Beyond that, these have small parts that can break off easily in the hands of someone that young. I would probably shoot for 10 and up. Realistically, you've got an age range of about 9-12, and then gun-enthusiast/toy nerds (like myself) over 20.COOL FACTOR (4/5). Transforming robots that turn into different handguns? Yes, please! And the gun selection is fantastic!COMPLEXITY/ENGINEERING (4/5). These are actually surprisingly complex for off-brand, plastic toys, which I appreciate. Not as intricate as original TFs, but enough to be enjoyable. More on par with the old Go-Bots, and maybe a notch better. I love the amount of moving parts, and appreciate the myriad pegs/holes and tabs/slots to guide and hold the transformations in place. Very well thought out!QUALITY (3/5). I miss the old die-cast TFs. The newer plastic TFs just aren't the same. That's about where these fall. Plastic is just too easy to wear out and/or break. For the most part, everything snaps and holds together nicely, but a couple of the ball-joints (especially the silver revolver's legs) keep popping off a little too easily. The paint job is excellent and professionally done.STABILITY (mixed). The gun forms hold securely (5/5). The robot forms hold surprisingly steady and are able to stand on their own - though the revolver can be a little touchy due to its loose hip joints (4.5/5). The combined robot is completely unstable (as others have indicated). There's only one connection point to hold each piece on, so it's constantly falling apart. Combined with the fact that the middle robot's hips are loose, it really is like a house of cards. I honestly wouldn't bother messing with the combined robot (1/5).INSTRUCTIONS (3/5). They're not bad, but can be a little confusing on how some of the arrows are supposed to maneuver the pieces. I had to resort to the "after" pics and a little common sense to find the right movements. The instructions are in one direction (robot > gun), but once you figure out one direction, the reverse isn't so hard. Turning them from the guns into the large robot pieces is a little more challenging.*TIPS. On some of the firearm grips, there's a bit of simultaneous twisting and rotating involved. If you think you're close, look for pegs and holes (or tabs and slots) that might fit together.
5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to use, cooler than the current transformers
Brought these to work but didn't get a chance to open them up before someone got into them and was able to transform them all between the gun and robot forms. That was before he found the directions, they're very intuitive.
1.0 out of 5 stars .Transform into trash
Very poorly made. Fell apart when trying to transform.
