It has a digital display that shows you how much it has charged or how much it has used up of the power it has. It is quickly and easily recharged. Once it's charged it's very slow to use up the charge. Battery charge lasts quite a while.It also has a digital display that shows what level you haven't set on. It has 10 different levels. Each one not only blows air faster and harder than the lower ones, with each higher setting the air comes through so much colder. By the time you hit level 10 the air is coming out of it almost as cold as a regular air conditioner. Even at settings of seven, eight eight, and nine, it is extremely powerful. It weighs slightly more than some of the other handheld or waistbands that I have checked out. But it is also much more sturdy and solidly made and most of the other ones I have checked out.I actually can't wait for this summer to go full board and get a lot hotter. This would be a great fan to have.At this point I have used it several times at the map in my bedroom since my air conditioner isn't any yet. I already sleep hot add in it's getting warm out in the air conditioners haven't been put in yet. Unfortunately at the moment most of my windows cannot be opened either. So night times have been getting miserably hot for me especially since my bedroom is always the warmest room in the house, something I find just annoyingly ridiculous.So recently I've been setting it up on a pillow or take a box and put it on the bed and set the fan on top of it. I seldom need to turn it any higher than four or five. So I know at between 78 and 82, it works beyond wonderfully to be able to cool me down. With the digital display I'm able to watch the battery power, continuously so I can charge it if I think I'm going to need to.It seems to be mostly made to be very sturdy, very strong. It has metal belt loops on either side. You can hook it either to a belt or the top of your jeans or skirt or whatever. Using the midway setting, has been very adequate so far. Even when I'm way too hot to sleep at night.It cools me off sooo much at times I have waited behind me and headed spray at my back while I fall asleep. Other times I either lay on my back and have it aimed at my side of my chest or I actually roll over and face into it either hit me in the chest or, or sometimes I'll just have it aim down at my legs laying on my side.Especially when it's blowing on my legs it cools. I actually go from burning up and overheating unable to fall asleep cuz I can't fall asleep till I start to cool down. Whenever I'm too hot before I fall asleep I need to cool down some way or end up chilled. As I do then I end up falling asleep of course then I also spend the rest of the night getting hotter and hotter in my sleep all over again. Usually waking up absolutely roasting and feeling kind of blah. With this if it's extremely hot in my room I can set this on one of the lower settings and let it in my back all night to help keep me a lot cooler overnight and throughout the next morning that or when I wake up to go to the bathroom late in the morning I can always turn it on then. So that way when I do wake up a few hours later in the morning I am not absolutely roasting.This thing puts out such a strong breeze, I can have it several feet away on the bed. Actually it doesn't matter where on my queen size bed I have it at, anywhere on queen size bed is cool enough and strong enough for me to be able to feel it.I can even feel it on my face if it's down at the foot of the bed. Or I put it on a shelf on my headboard right above me name it down towards my feet and my legs. Any setting above six or seven, the air coming out of it is absolutely ice cold. As I said it's like having a mini air conditioner with you. This is well I'm in a room that's between 75° and 82°. Don't be air coming out of it is very very cool, when you turn it up to 9 is when it hits truly ice cold. On 10 I'm pretty sure it will rival my air conditioner once I get it put in. Plastic and blow air almost as far as my big AC.This truly is a fairly excellent item. It's made well, it's very sturdy, almost positive you could drop this thing multiple times and still not be able to damage it, or at least not most of it. When we first came in from outside everybody hot and sweaty again, just starting to realize how truly hot it was in my house. We took turns using send we are both soft at how cold the air that comes out of it is. Settings one through three are mildly chilly. Four through six and I don't know maybe seven are pretty cool kind of cold. All the settings above that are just phenomenally cold considering that the air is pulling through it is in high 70°s low 80°s. But the air that comes out is absolutely freezing.Not only do I really really like this thing. And I mean like it a lot more than any of the other handheld or waistbands I have tried in recent memory. But I'm also thinking I may need to pick up at least a couple more of them maybe a few for hot days when everybody's sitting outside, or working outside. Okay it's not quite I may need to pick up at least a couple I already bought one more. Now I'm just thinking about a few more. This is one of those things that I've truly needed all of my life. I'm always overheating and this has gone on for a decade and a half almost two. I wish my parents were still around I would buy them each one.

I recommend this fan for outdoor applications or noisy environments. While it does have a neck band and you could use it around your home or office, even the lowest speed is very audible and has an unpleasant whiny noise.As a belt accessory, it's about as good as you could expect. There is a fairly large battery, so it has some heft, but when clipped onto a belt I do not find it heavy. It's also bulky, so it's not really comfortable to use if you sit down in a chair. Any backless seat should be fine. It has two clips, one clips onto your belt, and the reverse clip pointing up holds your shirt away from your body and away from the fan vents. This second clip seems a little tight and can be difficult to get a shirt into, but it's probably best so that the shirt doesn't pull out as you move.I recommend clipping this onto a belt and not into your clothes against your skin. The clip and area around it are not flat and smooth, so they could be irritating to skin.I find that even on the lowest setting, there is a nice stiff breeze up my shirt, it's enough to make me feel cool and minimize sweat accumulation. At higher speeds, the pitch is higher and the fan is also louder, but it does move a lot more air. At the higher speeds a cotton shirt flaps like the wind is blowing.It comes with a neck strap, but it's not a great neck fan. If you are moving and working, it swings around and gets in your way. If you are sitting then the clip is resting uncomfortably against your chest and you notice the weight of the battery. It also has a very direct but narrow air stream. Under a shirt, that doesn't really matter, but on your neck it means simply turning your head moves you out of the air flow. It's also right under your ears and you cannot miss the noise.It has a kick stand, but it's not adjustable without bending the metal. So you can set it on a table and it blows at a fixed angle. This means for a person of average height with a typical table and chair, you'll set it about 2 feet away from you for it to blow on your face.Theoretically, it has a flashlight and battery bank. I guess I'd rather have them than not, but I have no intention of using this fan for those purposes. The flashlight is nice an bright. It's a fairly neutral daylight temperature. Not blue or yellow. The fan comes with a usb-c to usb-c cable that is slightly longer than 3 feet long. It charges my phone at a normal speed (not fast charging).Battery life is excellent! Because of the big battery you can get a full day of work out of this. The LCD indicator shows the charge level (or the fan level as you adjust it), so you don't have to wonder if it's charged before you head out.

This was one of the best items I took on my recent cruise to the Bahamas. This fan was so powerful that it keep my husband cool while walking the streets of the Bahamas. It not very heavy so it didn’t weigh down his pants when he wore it. The battery life is good, lasting the whole day after a complete charge at night. Even though my husband wore it on his waist it also came with a strap to wear around your neck. The best part of this fan was it has a plug in where you can charge your phone. We brought our cord just in case our phones got low while we were exploring the city. Great purchase.

This portable waist fan is small and it works great! We used them to keep us a bit cool at the jazz festival today in the Florida heat and they did a great job! We charged it over night and after that, we were good to go. The charge lasted the entire day, to my surprise. Its small but it was blowingnout the air so good that it was pushing my boys shirt up.It's lightweight, easy to use, and it works really great. It clips onto his belt very easily. You can choose your setting/preference and set it accordingly. I highyl recommend. These are definitely worth the money! I will be getting one of these for my husband whom works out in the heat. He would love and appreciate this. I love it.

This little fan works amazing! It sends a ton of air out that feels amazing. It clips easy, hangs even easier, or sits on the desk perfectly.
