this little gadget absolutely blew my mind away at how well it works. It takes some time to figure out exactly how to make it work, and i suggest you really thoroughly read the manual and follow it to the T. The screen size is just like what you would get in a normal CarPlay car, so it makes everything very visible even in the sun. The touch screen is highly sensitive and its easy to use and set up. I would say its well manufactured because it held through some pretty rough falls while trying to install it, so to me its durable as it didn’t show any dents or scuff after falling. Something of note tho: when in a rainstorm the screen does lag and freeze for like a second. And sometimes there’s a signal loss while driving making me have to open the phone again for reconnection.

Best buy ever in a quality product that I’m constantly using. Outstanding rear view camera and superb sound linked with a cassette adapter to my 1993 Lexus LS 400 sound system.You hit the ball out of the park with this unit, great value and shipping speed too. Well done!

I have a nav screen built-in my car. However, it's from 2014 and the dealer wants to charge ridiculous amounts for the latest GPS data. My car also doesn't have Google Auto. This screen is a perfect solution for the lowest cost.Every time I turn on on my, the screen syncs with my phone and automatically pulls up the driving map (latest Google GPS data, not overpriced car dealer trash data). It lists your favorite locations from Google maps or you can just leave it to show your surrounding map while driving.I love it for after work. My city population is outpacing the infrastructure, so bumper-to-bumper traffic is now a thing at 5pm. My trusty screen recommends alternate routes to avoid the most traffic. Yes, you can do the exact same thing using only your phone on a holder on your dash, but I prefer having a larger map at eye-level while my phone is down in its cupholder.You also have music app integration: Tidal, Spotify, Bolo Music, etc.My only gripe is the mount. It's an adhesive based mount that sticks to your dash. Apparently, the engineers choosing the adhesive didn't conduct environmental testing bc the adhesive gets extremely pliable in the 100° Alabama sun. Hot pliable adhesive plus a top heavy mount equals screen on the console every time. I have to remember to remove the screen from the mount when I get to work or it'll be down by lunch.I've had only one technical glitch since I've plugged it in. It wouldn't allow audio to bypass the screen and play through the car speakers. I did a factory reset and it works like new again.This is the second screen like this I've owned. The first one was wider and it stopped working after 4 months. I prefer this size and I really hope it makes it past 4 months bc I prefer driving with it than without.

Would not stay paired with my iphone. Even when paired, voice commands worked less than half the time and on screen map did not show consistently...it came in and out.Update: After I posted the above review, I was contacted by the seller. They sent a new device which they said was fully tested. They remained in touch to see if it worked OK. It does work very well. The initial product apparently was defective but the customer service and follow up were impressive.

Absolutely one of the best tech items I've ever bought. Because a price I paid for it and the technology behind it for me to understand is absolutely fantastic. Everything work as smooth as possible. And even better. Bluetooth or straight. Connectivity is perfect. Value for the money is overwhelming. The insulation was as quick as getting it up installing it and it's just plain watch no problems forever. Best item I've ever bought. Especially at the price I paid for it. Thanks what gets little invention. That's worth it's weight in gold. Thanks thanks again

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I picked this thing up because my old car does not have any of the fancy tech, and I wanted something that could do CarPlay without dropping a ton of cash. Setting it up was not too hard, just plugged it into the cigarette lighter and stuck it on the dash. The screen is a decent size and clear enough to see maps and stuff while driving.CarPlay connects wirelessly, which is sweet because I hate messing with cables.It has Bluetooth for calls and music, and that part works fine. I can hear people okay, and they say I do not sound like a robot, so that is a win. It also comes with a little backup camera, which I did not expect to like as much as I do. It is not super high def, but it helps me not back into stuff, so I will take it. The touchscreen responds pretty fast too, not like those old GPS units that you had to press ten times.Now, there are a couple things that are kind of meh. The speaker on the unit is not great, so I had to run it through my car speakers to get decent sound. Also, the mounting thing could be stronger—it shakes a bit on bumpy roads, which gets annoying. Not a dealbreaker, but definitely not perfect.Overall, it does the job. Gives my old car some new tricks without needing to take it to a shop or spend a fortune. If you want something simple that lets you use your phone in the car without messing around, this gets the job done. Just do not expect it to look like it came with the car.
