I assumed it was from the black pepper, included because black pepper (cayenne pepper too) is known for supporting the absorption of many nutrients. I messaged the seller and they confirmed that "the slight spiciness comes from a small amount of black pepper extract (also known as piperine). It’s not just for flavor — it actually plays an important role. Piperine helps your body absorb the nutrients in the gummies more efficiently, especially natural ingredients like Shilajit. This means you get more of the intended benefits from each gummy." Pepper basically magnifies the effects.I chose this for the fulvic acid (the ashwaganda is great too), which is worth researching. The short explanation on fulvic acid is it is a complex organic compound that occurs naturally in soil, it enhances nutrient bioavailability, promotes healthier skin by improving hydration and supporting overall skin repair and regeneration, enhances detoxification by binding to heavy metals and other toxins, provides antioxidant support, and promotes cognitive health among other things. It simply supports the body in functioning properly.These gummies have quickly become a nightly ritual, I enjoy them and their kick. They fit in well with my keto diet and are actually a treat, a great way to get in my fulvic acid. As with most positive habits the positive effects are best seen over the long term, so making supplementation easy and enjoyable is certainly helpful.

Whoa. That's the first thought that popped in my head when I tried these shilajit gummies. The flavor isn't bad, and it tastes slightly sweet, is diabetic friendly, and you get a good amount of gummies in the container. They come individually wrapped, though, so there is a massive amount of plastic waste with this item, so if that is a concern, then you should order something else. The last shilajit gummy supplement I ordered tasted horrible with an awful chemical taste. I can't believe they didn't test it first or they didn't care enough to change their formula, so I was very hesitant to try this brand because I thought that it would be very difficult to mask what shilajit tastes like. Thankfully when I tried this it did taste pretty good, but there's a big problem with it. If you do not like spicy foods, or you do not like fiery tasting gummies or candies then you should avoid this one. I don't know if I got a bad batch, but the black pepper extract they use is the heavy hitter in this supplement. I eat spicy peppers all the time, so I'm used to them, but this supplement will punch you in the mouth with its pungent heat. Its almost like a children's candy like a Warheads or Fireball spicy candy, so if you like those and you need a shilajit supplement then you'll probably like this. If you don't like spicy foods or candies then run away and find something else because this is not for the faint of heart. You have been warned. I give it 4 stars because they were able to take something like shilajit and make it taste pretty good, but they absolutely missed the mark on adding too much pepper extract. If they could tone that down and also remove all the plastic that wastes a lot of space, money for packaging, and terrible for the environment, then they'd have a winner and a 5 star product. However since they didn't it gets a 4.

I got this on a whim without knowing much about Shalijit, and have been pleasantly surprised to experience this wonderful substance in this gummy form. This package involves a generous amount of gummies that really do have a kick to them, and overall seems like a friendly and high quality way to consume Shalijit. For me it has been a great way to be introduced to this wonderful age old supplement.The gummies come individually wrapped in plastic. This is a bit of a detriment as it is more wasteful, but it allows you to easily take some of these on the go. You need no bring a whole bottle of them, but most of us will have pill cases that we carry our supplements in, so it would have been best to forego the plastic wrap if possible. This is my only critique of this product.The taste is electric, these really have a delightful kick to them. I detect a bit of pepper like sensation and those sensitive to spicy taste may want to chase this with some water. The taste in itself is enough to wake me up, like a strong expresso. The after effect is much more smooth than expresso - I do feel a bit of an energy boost without any jitters. The texture is delightful, like a higher quality gummy that you don't have to chew forever. It will leave a peppery aftertaste in the mouth.Overall this has been a great way to discover this ancient supplement, and I recommend this to anyone looking for a little boost in the form of a gummy. It has a striking and remarkable taste, and for me the effects has been perceivable upon taking the recommended serving of 2 gummies.

What does this mean? How can this be justified? I sure can't figure it out. There must be some really fuzzy math used to come up with this.Beyond that, it's a good product. These individually packaged gummies are contained in a very nice, holiday style paperboard canister. These gummies have a very pleasant melt in your mouth taste and texture. They contain a nice array of beneficial herbs and something gives the gummies a spicy tang. Is that the ginger? Not sure but I like it.They are pricey per unit but you get a pretty nice thing for your money.

These are individually wrapped keeping them fresh and you can decide if you want two (the serving size) or just one. They seem effective giving me energy as well as daily minerals. There is enough for an entire month making it a good value. However, the only thing I can taste is the spice. It burns my entire mouth like I just shoved a ghost pepper in my mouth.

I take two gummies a day .I appreciate that the gummies are wrapped .This product's gummies have a spicy and slightly hot taste that I like, but the overall taste is not great.First gummy wasn't great, but after a couple I kind of like the spice taste though. The container is big and No negative effects from taking this .I didn't expected gummies to work this well! stress down , energy levels up.

These come in small packets like candies which can be easily fitted into pockets and purses. I have seen an increase in energy after use for a week. Recommended to take on alternate days.
