Pretty easy to navigate through the instructions. This was a gift for a 5th grade boy who loves building. He was thrilled! It was challenging but not frustrating, which is one of the best ways to stimulate a child. Competing brands cost double the price than this kit, but the quality and fun showed through for this product! Highly recommend.

I have to say that I had to look many times for the comparison between “big brand” and this to see what are the differences in build, sticker and color accuracy. So far this model compared to the other brand (this model is the RB19, other brand is RB20 current year model) seems a little longer and definitely has more pieces than the other brand. They are both licensed by Red Bull.The blocks seem of good quality about equivalent of “big Brand”. The model when built looks really nice. It did not seem to me that hard to build or follow along with the the booklet. Stickers should be done with tweezers (my recommendation because of precision as to not mess up, stick it once or ruin it) so maybe have help from an adult if it seems tough on someone young.Now the big question is , is it worth it? Very hard to answer if we are comparing to the “other “ brand because of price. To me the other brand seem just a little more accurate even if it has less blocks and just a tad smaller, I really don’t see this brand around much and this model is a bit more expensive than ‘Big Brand”. It’s really a toss up. I personally would like to see the price on par with the other brand and I would like to see more models from this brand so I can see they are serious about building blocks as other non-big brands have hundreds of real nice quality models at affordable prices compared to “Big”.

This car is comprised of over 300 pieces. The quality of the pieces is on par with the name brand building blocks, which shall not be mentioned, and price seems a bit lower than you would expect to pay if these were name brand blocks. It has been fun to assemble this one while at the same time a bit challenging. Many of these pieces are very small and it can be hard tell from the diagrams, the difference between a small blue piece vs a small black piece. At times, you might be building a section of the model that is primarily comprised of pieces from one of the bags and then have to open another bag to grab a few pieces from it. This is a minor inconvenience though and it seemed that maybe it is actually done for a good reason, perhaps to prevent you from inadvertently grabbing a similar piece from the primary bag. I would recommend this car to teens or older rather than smaller children, due to the complexity and the size of the pieces. However,if a particularly skilled child out there has already build similar things, this one will be good for them as well. 5/5

Wow. I was expecting to count all the qualities that made this set close enough to the beloved famous building brands to be worth buying. But the quality of this set seems to far exceed the “brand name”These bricks have the slightest amount of pliability. If you flex the build as you put it together, a more rigid block will snap apart. These feel SO smooth and soft going together. They clearly flex as a unit and join in a stable manner, but they are also easy to pull apart and reposition.The instructions also have a trait I haven’t seen-or at least not as clearly illustrated-in the brand name blocks. There are these color coded pega and arrows pointing to the pegs they are supposed to attach to. My husband has a hard time woth builds because he gets the positioning wrong, and I feel like he’d find that visual cue more helpful. This one is going to the kids, though…. Goes together easily and without frustration.I like the design of the pieces and the instructions, and very comparable in price to the brand name with the added benefit of those features 8 mentioned. Definitely a fun review!

Great product, not that difficult to build and looks good. Pics are small so you might want to build under some good lighting. Overall looks good at a good price, quality of bricks is decent. Much better than others. 5/5 recommended.

The set was very simple to build. it came with all the pieces except for one but luckily I had an extra piece from a different set that I used. The major issue is the set comes with a lot of stickers to make it look more realistic. When placing the stickers on the set it covers more than one block. To rebuild the set for fun would either ruin the stickers you have or you can never take it apart.

The overall brick quality of the is F1 car is pretty good. They snapped together confidently. This is definitely a design that is more replica than toy. There are a lot of sticks to place on this if you want the full design aesthetic, and most of them cover multiple bricks, so once they are placed, taking it apart, or building again will not be the same experience.The execution of the design has a few flaws that could have been executed better. The nose cone to the hood doesn't really attach to anything, so I rotated the a 2 stud 2x2 piece 90 degrees for a slightly better fitment.The execution on the wheels and tires is top notch, definitely a strong part of this model. If you are the type of builder that builds once and puts it on a shelf, you'll be pleased.
