We bought this to help ventilate our chicken coop, it works perfectly. The switch stays on so I can plug it in from the house and know it’s running. The flaps close when it’s off, it’s not too loud and the speed is adjustable. Easy to install. We’ve had it for over a month and it’s exactly what we needed.

This fan is exactly what I was looking for. It's built well, has a good airflow, and is surprisingly quiet, which is a huge plus. I mounted it in my kitchen ceiling to pull out hot air and cooking smells, and it has been very convenient—it keeps the house from getting hot or smelling like whatever I just cooked.My only small criticism is that I wish the cord were a little bit longer, which required me to use an extension cord. However, the fan has a great feature with little flaps on top that close when it's off. This is perfect for keeping bugs or other critters in the attic from getting in, which is a detail I really appreciate.Overall, it's just what I needed—not too large and not too noisy. This fan is perfect, and I'd definitely recommend it.

*Update*Price change. I'm sure the seller was trying to move units to get reviews. I'm still OK with the new price, just not as much of a bargain. It is worth the new price.Just a heck of a bargain at $15 (since changed to $38). This thing pumps some air, will run all day, speed adjustable and runs on 110.I got this for my smoking room. The square flange being the real selling point for me as it will sit in a window frame and blow the bad stuff outside.Well.. almost. It is backwards for my application. The flanged side is the intake. Lucky for me, I have time and just enough knowledge to get me into trouble! Not entirely finalized yet but it is set up and working the way I want after pulling the fan out of the assembly and turning it around. I will redrill the fans mounting holes and bend up the screen to act as a guard. It's going to be just fine.I imagine this was engineered to be mounted on the inside wall with just a hole leading to the outide and it would work for that as is, right out of the box.I am very happy with this order. The speed adjustment is great and has worked flawlessly for a week now without showing any signs of giving up.Great fan at a fair price. Gets loud at full throttle.

This fan is an exhaust fan, but I've mounted it to the outside of my shed and paired it with an temperature controlled outlet like B0F4X3WL6J. When the temperature hits the set point, this fan turns on and draws in cooler air from the outside until it cools down to below the set point.The fan installed easily and looks nice from the outside. On the "exhaust" side are to spring loaded louvers which open when the fan starts blowing and close when it's off. There's a variable speed switch which starts at the highest speed from the off position and goes down to a slower speed.It's been working well thus far, but it's too soon to tell about durability. I'll updated this review in a few months if it fails or starts acting up.

This exhaust fan works! I got it for helping to cool a server closet. It moves ar from the front fan grill side to the back where the dampers are. It moves quite a lot of air and works nicely to draw out the heat at the top and exaust it outside. It's quiet and easy to install. I'm taking away one star because the speed control is a joke, Half the dial does nothing the fan is off, then it turns on and it's so slow you can't feel any air, and then the tinyest adjustment makes it go full speed there is hardly any range it might as well be an on/off switch. Additionally, the dampers block a lot of air unless it's on high speed, there is not enough airflow to open the metal dampers, and it just makes backpressure.

I had an existing fan but the fit wasn't really what I wanted so I replaced it with this. With the mounting holes and the metal grill this one looks much better - is quiet enough for the purpose and moves a lot of air. I'm happy with it all around.
