Great little fan that gives off a lot of cool air. It has a normal setting which is normal cool air, and a 'cold' funtion which is cooler, which is nice. It's a little noisy, but its a thick fan for being little. It can be a small breeze or go pretty strong, but it is VERY fiddly to get it go increase as you need to push both of the power buttons at once, and if you don't have it just right, it'll shut off. I do wish there was better functionality when it came to controlling the strength of the blow, but its still a decent hand held fan.

Bolo Vine Customer Review of Free ProductI've tried a couple of these personal handheld fans, but this one stands out because of the thermal cooling plate.The fan itself has 120 speeds.Similar to others I've tried, when you turn it on, it always starts at speed 1, and you have to hold the button down to reach higher speeds—which, to be honest, is a little annoying because it doesn’t remember the last (potentially higher) speed you left it at. It takes around 10 seconds of pressing the button to reach the top speed of 120.It also doesn’t feature a vertical swiveling head like some others do, which would make it more comfortable to hold while positioning the fan as desired.But in spite of these inconveniences, it’s still my favorite from my collection and earns 5 stars because of the thermal cooling plate, which really gets cold and I find very useful.For example, I just used it on a road trip.I was a passenger in the back seat, and for whatever reason, the driver decided to keep the windows open instead of using the AC. It was somewhat hot out, especially when the sun came out, and the open windows didn’t help much since the air coming in was warm.In this situation, the fan wasn’t helpful because all it would do is push warm air around.However, the cooling plate was great. I periodically placed it on my face and the back of my neck, and it definitely made a difference in my comfort level.Here's another example:Also while traveling, I took a quick power nap in a warm room where a fan would have helped.Remembering I had this personal fan with me, I pulled it out and used the stand feature it comes with.This fan comes with a freestanding plate.In this situation, being able to stand the fan up and have it blow a gentle breeze on my head was just what I needed. Nap successful.The stand, while it might not seem terribly important, actually made a difference in this scenario. I haven’t seen stands included with many others.However, I’ll come back to my earlier comment about wishing this one had a vertical swivel because it would make using it on the stand easier in terms of angling it just right.Overall, the standout features—especially the cooling plate —definitely outweigh the inconveniences.5 stars overay —finding it more useful than neck or waist fans.

I am not sure about the effectiveness of the thermoelectric cooling that this fan is using. I don’t know if it is getting enough power or if the plastic cover sitting on top of it is blocking some of the cold coming through. I can see it is a smaller device sitting under the plastic cover shaped like a square but the plastic cover would have been better if they used metal to conduct the temperature change better.
