I thought it was going to be a cross between instant mac&cheese and ramen but be the worst of both worlds. I was proved wrong in the best possible way! This stuff is delicious! It had some veggies, like my favorite cup-o-ramen, was very flavorful like my favorite bagged ramen, with an added richness from the umami of the cheese powder with no goopiness. Will definitely be buying this regularly.

These were surprisingly tasty! They are actually quite spicy (not as spicy as ramen that’s specifically made to be spicy, if you’re worried it might be TOO spicy.)The flavor is good, but I wouldn’t call it cheesy. This becomes a ramen soup using the water that boiled the noodles, as opposed to other ramen that’s have you drain the water and serve. Overall, it was very easy to make and tasted great! Make sure not to use too much water as this dilutes the flavor.

This ramen is imported from S. Korea and it's quite different from the conventional ramen you find offered on American store shelves. As someone who has eaten ramen off and on since the late 1970s, when it first hit American supermarkets, I enjoy trying new and different twists on an old favorite.For the most part this marriage of hot sauce, cheese and ramen works pretty well. The heat level is within my limits of tolerable, but it's a very bold taste which might surprise unsuspecting customers. Enjoy it; this is something you'd find in one of those famous "ramen snack bars" in Asian countries (in this case, Seoul) without having to physically travel to Gangnam. It's a culinary experience!Follow the simple directions closely. It's not health food, and you already know the sodium content is off the chart, so go ahead, go big and mix in all three packets in for the optimal and intended taste experience. In addition to the spicy soup base and cheese (or "cheese"?) there's some veggies too - not many though but enough to add some extra texture to your cheesy ramen creation. The unusual taste experience is ramen meets mac n cheese with a lot of heat thrown in, if you can visualize that. This isn't a ramen that will work with extra add ins you might have in your refrigerator. Just don't think about it too much: make it and enjoy it as it is intended.Confession: I've aged out of this product as I felt like I was enjoying something that is not aimed at my age group. If you're too old to listen to Korean boy bands you're going to feel like you're eating something that's not age appropriate. At least that was my takeaway. It is very much a youthful delicacy.This is an exotic, fun and unconventional snack food for Western customers. Don't think it's going to make my re-order list, but I'm happy I had a chance to try it and it's something that won't be quickly forgotten. For the fun factor, authenticity and ease of preparation, I'm going to award this five stars.
