This is a nice quality Hawaiian sling for the price and is extremely easy to use (which is the beauty of Hawaiian slings in the first place). One thing to note, the 72 inches seems to be without the tip so once that is added it is pretty long. Great that it comes in it's own storage bag with extra tubbing. As for durability, the build quality on this sling is much higher than similarly priced versions from other brands.

Living on the coast in the Pacific North West, I have been looking at different spears and spearguns for quite a while. I have been diving plenty of times, and wished I had one of them with me as I great catch just swims on by. When this Hawaiian style spear set coma across my feed, I jumped at it. It arrived quickly, and I was please with what I received. It comes in a rally nice nylon travel bag. and includes the 2 piece spear which can be used as a short spear or a long spear, a heavy duty 5 prong, barbed, paralyzer tip, a second longer/bigger Hawaiian sling for even more power, a zippered pouch with a 5 foot fish line that can attach around your waist to hold you catches. It also comes with a can cozy. There is an instruction manual, and a warranty card included. I contacted Reef Spear, and they got back to me very quickly. I checked to see if replacement tips were available, and they said that they certainly are. Great customer service! I am really looking forward to using this as soon as the water warms up here in a few weeks. I have no doubt that I will be nailing a ton of salmon with this in the coming Salmon Season!

This Hawaiian sling is REALLY nice. I wasn't expecting much because the price is considerably lower than many other slings I have been pricing but I took a chance and boy and I glad I did. The fiberglass poles are nice and lightweight but extremely durable and stout. Missing and hitting rocks isn't a big concern with this sling because the poles are top shelf. The pole breaks into 2 parts via a heavy duty metal screwing mechanism that is durable and smooth. This is a really nice feature because it makes storage and transportation so much easier than with a full length sling. The end is well made with quality steel and the barbed points are finely sharpened. Includes a decent little carry bag, stringer, extra rubber slings, and a plastic cap to protect the barbs and bag when transporting. Takes only a moment to assemble and you are ready to hunt. I would expect to pay a considerable amount for for a sling of this quality so this rates as a screaming deal in my book. No complaints, wash after salt water use, touch of WD40 on the threads and this sling will last forever.

I was surprised at the size of this spear kit. I was expecting something like a tent pole, a bit thin and flimsy. But I was pleasantly shocked at the thickness of the fiberglass rods and how strong they are.I really like that the threads used for the spear joint and for the prong head are the same. This allows for either a full length or half length spear to accommodate your setting.The included rubber is very stiff at first, but quickly breaks in with some stretching.I really like the included stringer and the mesh bag for keeping all small parts together.Sadly, the whole reason I got this kit was to take to Florida, but I just found out that spear fishing is prohibited where I'm going (National Seashore). So I'll need to try it a bit closer to home.

I have not had the chance to use this in the water yet but I inspected it closely and it seems to be well made.It is very competitively priced when compared to other sling spears of known quality.I do wish that it had come with one or two more spear head options and for 15 more dollars the you can buy exactly that from the same seller.

This was easy to assemble and came with instructions for use, I tried it out outside of water and it got a good distance. It’s a lot of fun to use in water as well. I like that it came with a floating fish stringer and an extra elastic band, though the one it comes with seems very durable.

What a fantastic travel kit or beginner kit. Literally everything you need to get spearfishing except for your mask and fins. Metal connections have tapered ends facing the fiberglass shafts which makes it more comfortable during releases and cocking. Nothing like splinters or warps to suggest the fiberglass shafts won't be able to hold up. Easy breakdown into 2 pieces and decent quality bag to hold everything. What more can you ask for?
