This arrived to my doorstep very quickly and it's big. Really big. When they ship it from the factory, they put it in a giant press and then vacuum seal it, roll it and then put a single sheet of wrapping plastic around it so it stays put until you're ready to unbox it. It's about 70lbs and there's no handles or cutouts to maneuver the box around--it's best to have a helper get it to your bed frame.I also recommend setting it up first thing in the morning if you plan on sleeping on it the same night so it can fully inflate and release odors and other gases from the manufacturing process. I've purchased four of these memory foam mattresses over the years and this one has had the least amount of smells so that's a plus. This is certi-pur certified so the materials used are to an exacting standard in case you were hesitant on what you're getting. Make sure you have a fan in the room so you can vent those odors out before sleeping on it.I recommend creating a handle with packing tape--wrap it around three sides of the box and on the fourth side, make an arch so there's a gap between your tape handle and the box and then run the handle end of the tape down over where you started. Grab a length of tape and put it sticky side up so the two sticky sides match up and seal and you have a handle.I'm 6'3" and maneuvering the box was difficult--the tape "handles" definitely helped keep it in control and while I should've worn gloves, I didn't have any issues with the open corrugated edge with staples but please be careful as you don't want to be on the business end of that corner when the box is moving. Keep your mattress in the box until you get it to where it needs to be! Instead of sliding it out at either end, use a box cutter to slice the corners, preferably opposite where the one corner is stapled. Do NOT cut in the middle of the cardboard as you risk slicing into the wrap that holds it in place or directly into your new mattress. When freed from the open box, you can roll it into the middle of your bedframe--make sure it's pointing the correct way so it doesn't end up sideways down the width of your bedframe.You can slice through the wrapping with a box cutter (which I don't recommend as this thing is like a 70lb spring but if you do, do so with the absolute smallest blade length you can manage) or peel away the outer wrapping going down the length of the mattress and then pulling up on that wrapping so the mattress unrolls as you pull up that layer. When fully unwrapped. make sure it's in the right position and then slice down the long end of the mattress. If you slice the shorter end, you have to fight gravity and friction if you try to pull it off the mattress but it slides right out if you cut down the length of the mattress. Allow it to inflate and vent, put a good mattress protector on it and make sure you've got some deep pocket sheets.I'm 6'3" and over 250lbs but this has plenty of space for me and I feel supported even on the edges of the bed. I prefer a medium firmness for the support and we'll see if it keeps me cool during the southern California summer. My Bedjet will definitely help with that as well but so far I have no complaints. I used a foam mattress topper on my last bed which took it to the next level of comfort so we'll see how I accessorize it down the road.

I have been a fan of box mattresses for around 6 years, I usually have a queen size but I just moved into a new home with more room and decided I wanted something bigger. I found this king size mattress on Bolo and the price was terrific for a king size mattress. The mattress arrived in just a few days, it was vacuum sealed and in a box. I absolutely love that it comes vacuum sealed in a box because it is super easy to move upstairs into any room you want, providing you have 2 people because it's a nice and heavy. Definitely feels like quality. I opened it up and it began to expand, right away if noticed the quality fabric. I let it fully expand for 24 hours and that night we slept in it. Wow!!! I mean, WOW! Did i already say, wow!?!? This fabric of this mattress is so soft and sleek. The memory foam is not too firm but just right, it definitely has a some bounce back which is perfect for a memory foam mattress. We love the cooling effect this mattress has, it's the 1st we have gotten that Is a cooling mattress. Going from normal memory foam mattresses to this cooling memory foam mattress there is a very big difference, especially in California weather. This mattress is built like a traditional mattress, it actually has springs and different layers of comfort foams and quality memory foams. Once it has fully expanded it is a plump and lovely 12 inches thick and so much better than a traditional mattress. If it's comfort at an affordable price that you're looking for, look no further.... THIS is THE King size mattress that you want.

I recently upgraded to this 12-inch King Size Memory Foam Hybrid Mattress, and I have to say—it’s been a total game-changer. After weeks of research and testing mattresses in showrooms, this one struck the perfect balance between support, comfort, and price.The top memory foam layer is plush without feeling too soft. It contours beautifully around pressure points like my hips and shoulders, especially as a side sleeper. Beneath that, the pocket coil support layer gives just enough bounce and responsiveness to keep me from feeling “stuck,” and my partner—who’s a back sleeper—feels perfectly supported too.We both noticed better sleep quality within the first few nights.
