I love Dr. Althea as a brand. I’ve seen these masks going viral on social media so I decided to give it a try. I’m blown away. First of all the texture of the mask itself is unique in the best way possible. It’s a mixture between a high quality sheet mask and a the new hydrogel masks. I love that it’s SOAKED in the essence. Fragrance free and didn’t irritate my skin or eyes. After the 15 minutes the mask is still wet which is a great thing. It gave me an immediate glow and a cooling relief to my troubled skin. Very hydrating and nourishing. Can’t wait to see what my skin looks like in the morning. I will most certainly be purchasing the other two types of masks available as I am blown away by this one. UPDATE : woke up with beautiful glowing skin

I tried one of these out today after being in the sun and a shower and thought it was delightful. I was quite surprised by exactly how jelly-like it was though. The paper-like mask is absolutely coated in the gelatinous ingredients, so it was slightly tricky to unfold it and put it on, but once it's on, it really sticks. One observation I have - this is definitely not a walking around, multi-taking kind of mask because it's SO SLIPPERY and it started to slide off my face when I moved to and fro. In fact, it started dripping down my face and I got some in my eye. It stung a tiny bit, but not excessively, so that's a good thing... it just shows how mild the ingredients are. So, after that mishap, I instead I decide to sit back and relax and it was wonderful. For me there was a vague tingle and cooling effect while it was on. Upon removal, there was a very large amount of gel left on my face. I wiped some off and then let the rest absorb and it was very hydrating. I really love Korean skin care and this one didn't disappoint. I wish I could move around more with it on, but I guess it's nice to kick back and relax. At just over $3/mask, it's a little pricy for me (my sweet spot is $2-3 a mask), but they are very good quality masks and probably worth it on occasion.

These are soooo good. So much product. The sheet is on the thin side but very moist. It’s sort of transparent and almost invisible on the face , so your pets and husband will stay zen ;) So will you after seeing your hydrated, glowy skin.

I really like this mask. It has a generous amount of serum, and the "jelly" feature makes it feel bouncy and extra hydrating. My skin didn't get any irritation afterward, and it felt really soft and looked really glowy for the rest of the day. I have issues with dry and sensitive skin, and I feel like this worked really well for my skin type.There were a couple small things I didn't like. While I liked the feel of the jelly-type mask, it slid down my face a lot during wear. And though I really like having a lot of serum in the bag, the mask almost had too much on it, so it kept dripping. This was specifically a problem because it dripped into my eye, which stung pretty bad. So just be careful around your eyes.Overall though, still really good masks. I'd get them again.

I always have to watch what I put on my skin. I was happen to read the ingredients and had no weird reactions. My skin feels smooth and super hydrated after use.

The set comes with four individually sealed masks. The masks didn't have much of a scent. The masks were drenched with serum. It adhered well to my face. It left my skin feeling soft and smooth. It is very hydrating. I like that the mask didn't slip or drip off.
