Received this KVM switch on time and have been using it for a while. It's really easy to use, especially for someone switching between a desktop and a laptop. Great product, would recommend
Had a go with thins coming from a UGreen version. The extra remote button is a welcome addition. What I did with my old one was drill a hole in the side and butcher some speaker wire with a momentary button across the circuit board and it worked. Having it as standard is a huge plus.It swaps relatively quickly, with only a few seconds load in between but that's expected with how much information is actually being transferred.The addition of having powered usb ports was a bonus as you can hook up small usb hubs for additional slots for when you have keyboards with two cables, a mouse, a mic, a Webcam, usb lights etc.
KVM works well, keyboard power a little buggy
Decent KVM, although when switching sometimes the power doesn’t come across or the keyboard as it isn’t recognised by windows. KVM switch or windows or Logitech issue? I’d say kvm as it’s not getting power and recognition. I use a Logitech backlit gaming keyboard and sometimes after switching to that pc the keys don’t light up. The fix is to unplug and replug the keyboard from KVM for the keyboard to work. A pain but it works fine other than that.
great solution for a 2-pc setup
I have a second pc that I run our CCTV system with that sits behind my desk. This device allows me to switch easily from my main pc to this system anytime I need to check whats going on. I've previously used an hdmi switch but this is much more convenient as I don't have to have a second keyboard/mouse on hand.The switch is well made and there is no drop in performance or visual quality. Although the cable management is a pain, I've found that I can put it all out of the way and run the separate switch up my monitor arm and behind my pc so it's all out of the way.Under these kind of circumstances this is a really useful piece of kit and I highly recommend.
Good Quality KVM with Solid build and works great.
This KVM switch is pretty well built with a solid metal frame weighing in at 211g. As my monitor already has multiple inputs I only really needed this as a USB switch between my PC and Mac. So i have a Keychron, Numberpad and a wacom table hooked up and it switches great..slight delay but no biggie. The remote helps alot as I can hide all the cables at the back.The only small issues is that I would have prefered either a USB powered one instead of using a wall power adapter (not sure if that would be enough to power this this) and the remote connector could have been something more modern like a MicroUSB...but as mentioned not an issueOverall great quality switch (for USB 3.0 devices) that uses smaller USB-A connectors instead of those clunky USB-B to connect between devices.
