I was genuinely hesitant to apply this coating to my Mercedes. Anything that advertises a decade of protection and a self-leveling formula sounds great in theory - but on a high-end vehicle, the margin for error is razor-thin, especially at this price point.First things first: your car has to be immaculate before you apply. This is not a product you throw on in the driveway between errands. I spent a full afternoon prepping - wash, clay bar, light polish - and even then, I masked off the trim with painter’s tape because the product is specifically labeled for paint and headlights only. I wasn’t about to test its limits.Application is straightforward in theory, but the working time is extremely short. You need to apply in a cool, wind-free, low-humidity environment. Anything else, and it starts to get tacky before it levels out. I did my application in a closed garage with a dehumidifier running, and even then, I had to move quickly. It’s forgiving to a point, but you don’t want to be figuring things out mid-process.That said - when applied correctly, it’s hard to argue with the results. The gloss is deep and mirror-like, and the paint immediately feels slick to the touch. Water beads up instantly, and dust seems to wipe away with minimal effort. It definitely gives the look and feel of a professional ceramic job.I will say that I didn't find the scratch removal to be as exceptional as I had hoped (and really my primary reason for even considering this). I had some very light swirling scratches on the trunk which did get obscured, but a similarly deep linear scratch (read: a very minor linear scratch) was still visible after application.With regard to the overall durability, I can’t speak to the full 10-year longevity claim, but I’ll be watching closely over the next few seasons. Even though it didn't fully obscure all the minor scratches, the initial result is still promising.Suggestions & Cautions:- Don’t even consider using this outdoors unless conditions are perfect.- Use painter’s tape to protect trim, emblems, or anything not explicitly listed.- Be prepared to move quickly during application - it’s not a “set it and forget it” situation.- Skip this if you don’t have a controlled space for prep and cure.It’s a premium product with the performance to match - but only if you’re willing to put in the time and care during application. Not totally beginner-friendly, but if you're willing to take the shot, the payoff is can be worth it.

Look,I ordered this thinking I would be able to do it without a problem and boy was I wrong. I live in a condo without a garage or a place to even have the conditions needed get this applied. I'm sure it's a good product but a little warning ahead of time. But I believe it's meant for retailers more than a regular person. Plus I didn't want to ruin any parts of the pain on my BMW.

This is the best product I’ve used to date for my car! I have tried several good ceramic products you can find online, and this AI Coating is definitely not that and beats the heck out of anything I have tried on my car. Product works really well on scratches and for some reason the clear coat paint on my car is prone to fine line scratches (dark gray in color) opening the truck and around the door handles, this has filled in the void and so far, has been keeping scratches at bay with a nice, protected shield/finish. I had to put off applying it since I don’t have an enclosed garage (have a car port) and it has rained every weekend for the last two months without fail. Monitored for when I could apply it outdoors in a semi outdoor environment and that was the hardest part of using this product, that and making sure the car paint was super clean before applying this product. Preparation first goes a long way in making sure the conditions to apply it is showroom clean because this will seal in any dirt or adverse conditions still left on the surface paint and you will not like the results and blame it on the product, so go all out commando cleaning it first. I cleaned it the day before and put a car cover over night and did a light rebuff of the surface the next day before applying it. Worked like a charm. I am very satisfied with the results and its super smooth mirror glass like finish, if properly applied you will get professional looking results, and I very much do recommend this product.

Highly recommend this protection on your paint. I was afraid to use it so I asked my detailer to use it on my car I just bought in place of his normal clear coating finish.He was extremely impressed by the ease of application and the high gloss sheen it gave. It was put on over 3 weeks ago and photos are of an 11 year old vehicle it was used on. These are photos taken today, 3 weeks after application and a car wash.... Makes the paint looks brand new and it's extremely durable rain beads right off and leaves no spots dust also flys right off.Well worth the price a little goes a long long way my detailer said there's enough in the bottle to do 5 or 6 standard size cars or 2 or 3 trucks or small boats.

Make sure your environment is dry. As dry as possible. Follow the directions, because there is like zero margin for deviation. The hood and roof of my car are painted with the thinnest layer of clearcoat ever, and it’s 25 years old, so I figured this would buy me some more time before respraying by filling in some crazing and fixing the shine. I don’t have a garage or enclosed space, and the weather felt dry enough, but the working time was like 10 seconds. It didn’t even have time to self level before it got tacky.Then I went inside my house, where the humidity is kept low, and tried it on a door I have in my living room. (don’t judge me, evo parts are getting hard to find). It went on flawlessly, self levelled, and brought the shine back. Pretty impressed with it, but kinda bummed that I can’t park my car in my living room to do it.So, if you’re planning on using this, it’ll work great, but you have to put your car in your garage, overnight so it’s cooled, and run a dehumidifier or two so you can get the RH down as low as possible.Also, this is the nature of ceramic coatings. They’re moisture cured, so it’s important to have your surfaces cool, and your air dry.

I have always enjoyed detailing vehicles and making them look as good as possible. I have tried everything on the market, including waxes and highly rated polymers. They all work well, but the problem is the effort it takes to apply some of the protectants and the short duration they last.When I saw this Magic Shield Diamond Graphene self-leveling AI protection, I had to give it a try.One thing that is very important to know about this product is that it is not made for new vehicles. There are other products by this same company that you would use on new paint. This is made for older vehicles that need a paint refresh.I have an older classic vehicle that I wanted to give a try on.The first thing I needed to do was make sure the vehicle was completely clean. Using soap and water is the best way to do this, along with a clay bar if needed.Once the vehicle is clean and dry, it's time to put on the Graphene.I was quite surprised at how easy this went on. It comes with an applicator cloth that you prime with 100 drops and then wipe on your car in one direction with minimal overlap.There is no buffing or polishing needed at all. This Graphene is self-leveling, so it smooths itself out once it is applied.I did my vehicle in sections, and after each application, I used a light to make sure there were no imperfections. If there are you need to use a degreaser to correct these quickly. Fortunately, I had none.I could not believe the shine that I got from this product. It has a very nice wet look and revitalized the look of my vehicle.They claim that this provides 10 years of protection.One nice thing about having this on my paint is that bugs and dirt do not cling to the paint like they would without this treatment. This shortens the time that it takes to wash the car.The price of this product may seem high, but to have this professionally done would cost more than $1000. Also, since it lasts 10 years, it saves you a lot of money and time since other products need to be applied at least twice a year.I am very happy with this Magic Shield Diamond AI protectant, and I do recommend it to anyone who wants their vehicle to look its best.
Pleasantly surprised
This product is great! I must admit I don't know a lot about cars or how this product worked so I had zero expectations but I was pleasantly surprised. It was easy to use and the colour of my car came back so vibrant! Very happy with this.
Superior coating quality
This is the first time I used shield coating on a car. I admit that this was much easier than I thought. Very easy and straightforward when the provided instructions are followed. I just needed to work fast as it dries/ sits fast, also avoiding overlapping wasn't easy for me. The finish was just perfect, like a new car, the ceramic-like coating makes the waiter run away from the surface. All I needed was to purchase an applicator.*** This product was received for free under Bolo Vine program

Great quality product that is extremely easy to apply, providing you follow the instructions directly.I took my time and towards the end realized that this product was the real deal. After finishing off you would not know it was my car.The shine and vibrancy it gives back to the color is awesome. So very worth the choice.
Great way to protect the paint on your car and rejuvenate it if it’s dulled
This looks like it’s a high quality product. When I got it and read the instructions it says best results on oxidized dull surfaces. My son’s old Honda with dull oxidised black paint would have been the perfect candidate but he was lucky enough to have sold it before this product arrived. So I’ll just have to wait a bit before trying it on my own car. It looks easy to use. Just wipe it on a clean surface and leave it out of the rain for about 7 days.
