This was so much fun to put together! The kit was high quality and packaged nicely. This was the first time I have ever done a miniature project and I didn't have any issues at all. The directions were very clear and easy to understand. I look forward to purchasing more kits from Rolife in the future.

This was a pretty quick one, but still fun. I enjoyed the amount of wood pieces versus having so many paper pieces in these projects. I tend to use superglue rather than the double sided tape that is included. I feel like that works better. I would definitely recommend adding this one to your collection.

Recently, I’ve completed a handful of book nooks and miniature builds—ranging from general miniature builds to more tiny scale builds. From ones with 2D items designs, ones with 3D setups like this one, and even brick build kits. I always look for ones with LED lighting features, as they really help highlight the details in a build like this. My only complaint with the lighting in this kit is the switch placement—you have to turn the entire piece around to turn it on or off. It would’ve been great if the switch were placed on the front or one of the sides for easier access.I'll preface this by saying I really enjoy working with Rolife products. I’ve generally found them to be well-designed, high quality, and have reasonably clear instructions - a good value for the price.This kit did come with tiny pieces of double-sided tape, which I find awkward to use. Instead, I opted for a clear-drying craft glue like Beacon 3-in-1 Advanced Craft Glue. While it takes a little longer to set, I find it easier for positioning parts and making small adjustments. Plus, it gives me time to work through the next steps while waiting for the glue to set.I liked how many of the walls, floors, and cabinets just slot together easily. That said, I had to be careful when inserting the pins for the cabinet knobs—the cabinet pieces were prone to splitting if too much force was used or if the pin isn’t perfectly straight.As you’ll see from my pictures, I made a few customizations to my Baking Kitchen. It started with my disappointment that the refrigerator didn’t come with internal shelves. My husband kindly 3D-printed some for me, and then printed a stovetop and a pan to sit on the stove as well. This led me to dig into my stash of miniature items to fill the fridge interior, which then required me to reposition the chair enough so the fridge doors could open fully when you wanted to peak inside.These little changes required rearranging other elements from the original instructions—which, honestly, just added to the fun. The base design is fantastic on its own, but having the flexibility to customize it to suit your creative vision is a huge bonus!

This model is very easy to build. There is a surprising amount of detail for such a small model. This is probably due to the amount of pieces. There are nearly 400 of them. The build quality is really nice. Nothing feels like it’s going to fall apart and once put together everything feels very secure. There’s also a very cute light fixture that actually turns on. That’s my favorite part of the model. I’d recommend it as a gift for anybody crafty as it’s a great value for money.

Great little house kit. Uses too many 2 sided tape strips, and the table was missing a leg. The quality due to the missing leg 3/5.
