The scent is a soft vanilla dream—not overpowering, just warm and comforting. I use it after a shower or to lock in moisture before bed. This body massage oil is very nice. The scent is warm with hints of vanilla and pine. It's not an overwhelming scent so it doesn't overpower your senses. The oil itself is fantastic. It goes on smoothly without being overly oily, It absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling super silky and smooth. This is wonderful on my knees and feet where I seem to get the driest skin. I definitely recommend this body oil.

I can’t quite explain the “after” scent. Initially it smells nice like vanilla but after awhile it smells different. It’s not a horrible smell, it’s just different. I think maybe it’s because it’s more natural or “cleaner” than some of the super fragrant oils they say disrupt hormones and are bad for your health. I am sticking it out, it feels good on my skin and it has better ingredients others.. I’ve been using it after showering and putting lotion on before bed. I recommend if you’re not picky about scents, again it’s not a horrible or offensive smell.

I wish reviews came with scratch and sniff abilities so you could sample a flavor before you order. If they did, you’d be sure to try this oil. It is a great body massage oil.The oil feel is interesting because it is very sunflower oily (the first ingredient) which I describe as light and thin but still oily/greasy. But then it also has a watery dry oil feel to it as well, like a rose oil or squalane type thin oil. It applies lightly and absorbs into the skin very quickly, but it does leave a slight residue when too much is used, so use sparingly and let it last a long time!The scent is quite divine! It is strong but not overpowering. It has a lot of cinnamon but once that dissipates, it leaves the other notes on the skin and they all combine to make a super cool lingering scent. It reminds me of a gotu kola herby smell with a baked apple pie spice smell. I frickin love it. Like walking through Hobby Lobby and smelling home cookin’ at the same time. Delightful.Might be my new favorite after shower body oil! No need for perfume afterwards.I would not use this on my face unless I had a beard, and would not use on sensitive skin due to the cinnamon, but dang it’s great for the body, arms, legs, and hands!

This is a light, thin oil with a sunflower base that spreads pretty quickly across your skin and sits on the surface, which is helpful as a lubricant for massages. It smells great! The oil doesn't really soak in much, so you'll want to wash it off after a massage unless you are planning on going outside to a sunny or dry activity (like the beach, or hiking). In those dry and sunny scenarios, though, it's a really good way to keep your skin from getting chapped and cracking. Very moisturizing. Just keep in mind that oil is hard to wash out of cloth, so if you apply a bunch of oil to your skin, it'll spread to your clothing and bedding, plus furniture, and possibly leave permanent oil stains if you're not careful about how you wash them. That's true of any body oil so I'm not taking any stars off this massage oil for that consequence--just commenting that it's the kind of oil that lingers on your skin, so take the precautions you'd need to take with any such oil.

One pump of this and BOOOM... your skin is hydrated and nourished with plant based ingredients... which also works to help prevent irritation. I can see this as being a really nice massage oil as it's non greasy... the scent really has a luxurious scent to it... I like how it feels on my pores it really sinks in fast and kind of makes me smell expensive. This one to me is more elite hydration than basic lotion energy. For sure not your grandma's massage oil. I'd recommend it to others.

Decent thick-ish oil that you really don't need a lot of. Does smell like grapefruit peels which is equally pleasant and unpeasant for me. Has this slight hint of bitterness in its smell that just isn't quite for me, combined with a greasy undernote in it. Does make my skin feel pretty good after, it looks nourished and feels a bit softer, but I don't gravitate towards it. It's not a bad oil by any means, it does feel great. I just can't get over the smell given I have products that I actually enjoy very much while this one just is more along the lines of "ehh". If it wasn't for that I'd love it.
