It easily shoots 15 feet, maybe even 20, but no way it's hitting 25 with the one I’ve got. Still, it’s perfect for zapping the dogs from across the room, and in the summer heat, they actually enjoy it. Best part? They clean up the water afterward. Win-win.The water gun comes with two 3.7V 37550 batteries, each shrink-wrapped and equipped with a quick-disconnect (QD) connector. A USB charger—smaller than a flash drive—plugs right in. I’ve gone through four full tanks from the large water drum and two from the magazine, and I’m still running on the first battery. The backup battery is ready, but swapping it has a downside.To replace it, you’ll need a small Phillips-head screwdriver to open the compartment, disconnect the used battery, and reconnect the fresh one—carefully positioning the now-bulkier connection beneath the battery. It’s a bit of a pain, especially with wet hands. And I’m definitely not handing a kid a tiny sharp screwdriver. That thing’s basically a bayonet waiting to happen—yes, the thought crossed my mind, and if it crossed mine, it’ll cross theirs too.The gun itself is made of heavier plastic, it seems very durable but time will tell. There's some resemblance to a firearm but all in all this wont be mistaken for a real gun and if in don't, don't take it out, if your concerned little Bobby or Sally are going to point it at someone that may have a proclivity for violence its best to not give it to them at all. All that being said, its fun and well made. I see hours/days/weeks of enjoyment a real possibilityBottom line: I absolutely love playing with this thing. I was going to let my wife’s kids use it during their visit… but I’ve changed my mind. I’m keeping it for myself. 😄

mwuhahahahahahaha...got a problem with cats climbing up your mini blinds?not with this bad boy around you won't!I can't say it'll shoot 28 feet on these stock batteries, maybe if you're on the roof of your house or shooting downhill...But...I CAN say this is perfect for getting cats off the mini blinds, kids out of the cookie jar, wife out of the candy bar stash, or husband out of the garage and back to doing the yard work you told him to do this morning, and yesterday, and last weekend!The standard water tank in the grip doesn't last too long, but it sure makes it a little easier to conceal getting it past the wife and away to a safe distance before firing.The extended tank lasts a lot longer, but is bulky. This is like a video game, you have to decide if portability or stealth is more important. Carry both if you absolutely must have maximum capacity.The "Safety" button is actually the release for switching out or refilling tanks.The battery compartment and swapping out batteries is best left to smaller, younger, or in general hands with more dexterity than my old crusty things. I'm still waiting to see how long it takes to top off the second battery as it's been solid red for an hour now with the included USB-A connector. Maybe that means it is full?

First of all, this water gun is so unique and cool. The thing that really stands out about this water gun is the asthetic. It looks enough like a real tommy gun or pistol to be fun during play, but not real enough that I worry my children will someday confuse a real gun for a toy. The tommy gun attachment holds a decent amount of water. It seems to be made of thick plastic and it's well constructed. I would not recommend this gun for small children. It has moving parts on it that snap back HARD automatically while the trigger is pulled and could easily pinch little fingers if they hold the gun the wrong way. For older kids and adults I definitely recommend this water gun.

Fun little toy. Kids been playing with it nonstop. I like that you can fill the small magazine with water or add the larger one. My only complaint is having to physically remove the battery via screwdriver to charge it rather than it being a USB charged device. I can see the wire that connects the batter getting pulled out by a kid mistakenly but all-in-all it's a solid and fun toy...even for us adults :)

For the price I am a little let down. It's a pretty cool concept however the range is not that long, at least in my opinion. It is super easy to use and fill with water however, even with the "extended mag" it doesn't hold that much water. It's also incredibly loud when shooting. It's pretty cool but I actually expected more for the price.
