I think this sauce is "good" and many people will probably enjoy it. All things considered, it just isn't my favorite. To the limited extent that I'm familiar with Korean BBQ, I do think this Heinz product is a decent approximation. The thick, dark brown sauce has a strong and distinctive flavor. I've used it as a dipping sauce with plain chicken to get the full experience, though I might prefer it as a marinade. I love that it doesn't contain artificial flavors or dyes. I dislike that sugar is the second ingredient, while acknowledging that 35 calories per tablespoon isn't bad. As far as the spicy scale goes, the four chili peppers, out of six, seems right to me.

Great Flavor Burst, I have purchased specialty sauces that cost a lot. Never seen this Heinz flavor in my grocery store.Purchased for a family BBQ. It was really good !

Perhaps I just didn't realize that "Korean inspired" should also mean spicy?? I expected a sweet and tangy BBQ sauce. This was tasty, but ended up being far too spicy for my tastebuds. I think that should be included somewhere on the bottle. My husband, who loves spicy foods, thought it was great!

I put this on some pork ribs that I made in the oven and they turned out so good. It was a nice change from normal BBQ sauces. The consistency was good and not too thick or thin. I can imagine this would be good on pulled pork sandwiches as well.

I've had korean bbq sauce and gochujang before so coming into this I was expecting a milder version which is kind of what this is. It tastes pretty good though obviously not as good as the fresh ones the restaurants used or ones you can make yourself given the right ingredients but for those days when you're too tired and lazy, this works well enough to get that flavor. I am weak to spice though so I was hoping that aspect would also be toned down but it's still quite spicy. It's the kind that kind sticks for a while too so just be careful of that.
