It took us 3 months to be able to decide on a mantle for our new house. Im so glad we ended up with this one! It looks great, and matches our redish brown bricks very well. Its not too bulky, and its exactly true to size.We used a hammer drill to predrill the holes, which made it go so much easier. (By the way, its not easy screwing into bricks, in case you didn't know LOL)Anyways, putting it up was a breeze, the instructions are super clear, and all you need is a drill (hammer drill is much easier!) And a tape measure. Everything else is included.The mantle is sturdy and feels very strong up on the wall. Would 100% recommend!

Looks great and easy installation. I like that you can see the wood grain. Does chip easily as we left it on the floor for a week or so when we were working on our project and found chips in it that weren’t there when I took it out of the box. That shouldn’t be an issue now that it’s hung though. Easily touched it up with some furniture markers and you can’t see them now.

Mounting was easy with the included hardware, just make sure to drill into studs for strong support. I’ve had guests compliment it already!Very happy with the quality and how it transformed the whole fireplace area. Totally worth it!
