5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing!!!
This is my first time ever leaving a review for anything because I just never care to, but this stuff worked so good for me that I feel it deserves it. I got my conch pierced and used the saline solution that I got from the peircer but I was constantly having problems, my ear would swell up so much that I couldn't fit any jewelry. I ended up going to the emergency room because the back of my earring was swallowed by my piercing because it was so bad. i had a big nasty bump(keloid) on the front that just wouldn't heal. I got this stuff and after the first day of using both the spray for cleaning and the oil afterwards, it healed it enough for me to finally be able to put a normal stud in. Day 3 and the bump is pretty much gone, my ear feels great! I have never had a product work so good and so quick for anything before so I absolutely recommend it! So thankful!
4.0 out of 5 stars Great for piercings
I am no stranger to piercings, but my latest nostril one has been falling out/giving me issues. I've been doing my sea salt soaks but wanted to give it a little something extra, so I decided to try this. After just one use, the swelling and pain was reduced, as was the redness. And it finally looks better but also feels comfortable... FINALLY! So I'll be sticking with it 🤞I find it to be gentle, doesn't sting, and leaves no residue or dryness. It has like a mild lavender scent, but I don't mind since it isn't overwhelming.I'd recommend giving this a try for anyone dealing with piercing irritation or keloids etc. Good luck!
5.0 out of 5 stars Highly recommend
Great stuff to use on piercings with bump on it. Healed my conch piercing super fast. Super good product
5.0 out of 5 stars Highly recommend - much more effective than saline solutions for piercing care.
I got this for my teenage daughter to take care of a piercing she got over the summer while traveling in Europe. The place in Europe where she got her ear piercing sold her a foam product that she just loved (containing chlorhexidine, which is an antiseptic) but that is unavailable in the US. Most of the piercing care solutions available in the US are just saline, and while they do a decent job at keeping piercings clean, they really do not have any active ingredients to avoid potential infections and decrease inflammation. This product is different, and my daughter loves it. This product actually contains 2 different solutions. The large spray thing is a hypochlorous acid solution that is a much stronger antiseptic than saline. According to my daughter and after using for a couple of weeks (~twice per day), it seems to sooth piercing bump really nicely, does not have smell, does not sting, does not dry skin. she highly recommends over the saline solutions out there! From her experience, the saline solutions she tried (after she ran out of the spray she bought with her piercing) would not really decrease irritation and bump, or even “clear” infection. This product does a much better job, and need to be used 2-3 times per day as needed, per instructions. The second little bottle is a soothing oil, which also seems to work quite nicely. When rubbed into the piercing, it really helps decreasing irritation, does not have a strong smell and seems to add a little bit to what the spray does.Overall, my daughter is really happy about this "kit" and strongly recommend it for piercing care.
5.0 out of 5 stars works to rid of piercing bumps!
I used this on my freshly pierced ears, and kept them clean/noninfected. Then my eyebrow piercing popped up a piercing bump. Ugh. This cleared it away. I normally just use spray saline for cleaning and trying to rid of keloids. This bump solution actually worked on the keloid! Was gone in less than 2 weeks.
3.0 out of 5 stars It’s ok
Was ok. Didn’t seem to really clean any better than the usual soap and water. Didn’t irritate my piercing.
5.0 out of 5 stars Versatile for skincare
I recently tried the Base Labs Hypochlorous Acid Spray Piercing Aftercare Kit, which includes the 8oz spray and a 0.5oz keloid bump treatment oil, and I’m really impressed with how versatile and effective it is. In the past, I was advised to use crushed aspirin to reduce keloids, but this feels much safer and more effective. The spray is gentle on my skin, with a mild scent that isn’t overpowering. I’ve been using it on a small keloid and have noticed a reduction in both size and redness. What I love about this product is its versatility. I’ve used the spray not just on keloids but also for general skincare. It's great as a spot treatment for skin irritation, and I’ve found it really helpful for body odor; spraying it on my body, armpits, and feet to neutralize odor. It's gentle enough for daily use and feels safe on the skin, which I appreciate. With its ability to treat a range of skin concerns, from acne and rosacea to keloids and irritation, I can see this being a staple in my skincare routine. It’s also ideal for anyone with sensitive skin since it’s much less likely to cause irritation compared to other ingredients. I highly recommend this product for its versatility, safety, and effectiveness in treating a variety of skin concerns.
Excellent, best I have used!
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } I received this item as part of the vine programme and here is my honest and unbiased review. This stuff is excellent.I don't know if I am prone to bumps, but what I can say is that using this for freshly pierced ears has been a positive experience. My new piercings are clean and dry and have no problems at all. I particularly like the nozzle which makes the directional spray of the solution extremely controllable and accurate. I have no bumps, this may be just my genetic way for dealing with piercings, so I don't know if this stuff prevented any bumps, but I can say that I am delighted with how my healing has been, I will definitely continue to use this stuff!5 stars!
Really works wonders!
This works wonders! After a TikTok search about how to get rid of piercing bumps I learned that I switched to a hoop too soon. The advice on their TikTok page is phenomenal and the pictures I’m sharing are exactly 2 weeks apart. May 4th (first pic with hoop… eewh!) and May 18th (with small stud… yay!!). I also started spraying my entire face with the spray because I heard it was good for acne and it works for that too! I’ll always repurchase it!
Love it !!!
Love it !!!
Aftercare
This duo has everything needed for atercare once you have had your ears pierced. I am prone to bumps and it does actually work. The spray is by far the best as it cools down the soreness. This product is great for tattoos too.
Decent
Both of these products work quite well but I wouldn't say they're a cure for anything, they're good for soothing tattoos and piercings. Particularly the spray which feels nice and cooling on a hot tattoo.
