I've experienced freeze dried candy, and sour skittles are my favorite. Apparently they are sick of people ripping off their candy, but they have a long way to go before perfecting the freeze dried game. I ordered 2 bags and most of the pieces were melted together into large clumps, meaning it melted.back to a liquid and tasted like mainly crystallized sugar. All other brands include a dessicant pack of some nature to keep the candy freeze dried. I contacted Bolo for a refund and wouldn't buy it again.

They are sour and crunchy and can be addicting. They taste just how I like my sour candy. Wanted to try them before the new laws go into effect about food dyes. This item contains many dyes, a few are Yellow 6, Red 40, Yellow 5, Blue 1. Those I just listed are all in the list of concern due to potential health risks, particularly in children. I can limit myself, but doubt a child could do the same. Dyes do not effect flavor and are only there for visual aesthetics. Yes they are tasty, but at what cost?

I am disappointed in skittles. To me these had all the sour without any flavor. They were clustered together. At first I thought I just got a bad batch. But, then I bought another bag from Walmart. Same difference. Not even light and crispy as others are, almost to hard to chew. I will not purchase skittles again. I had much better from generic brand names.

Evidently these were fantastic. My husband ate the entire bag before I could even try one. He said they were the perfect combination of tart and sweet with the interesting texture of freeze dried candy. I am rating the product based on his comments and not on his ability to share, obviously.
