Knowing that it is people and pet safe was a major factor in my purchase decision. I didn't even consider standard (glyphosate) poisons.The product worked well on the weed I was targeting and also worked on other weeds. It is pricey compared to other "safe" weed killers, but well worth it. If necessary, overlook the cost and consider how good it smells! Yes. It has a pleasant scent.My first purchase of this product was the kit with the battery-powered sprayer. What a joy to use! It's worth paying extra so as to avoid the (literal) pain of using a manual trigger sprayer. Also, the Spruce product design team did a great job targeting consumer safety and convenience, because removing and attaching containers is a breeze. Furthermore, there was no shaking of the product required and there were no leaks.Oh, and there are some other great characteristics: the container's supply tube is positioned to where you can use almost every bit of the solution. There is almost no waste of product.To attest to my experience with Spruce, I am going to soon place another refill order. Yes, it is that good. (In my experience.)

SUPER EASY TO USE! Safe for my dogs, people & BEES!!! 🐝I always counted on my spouse to get rid of weeds, but suddenly need to learn to do all sorts of new things & this seemed like something I may not be able to handle. The sprayer is so easy to use & it killed off weeds in cracks of patio pavers completely within a day. Weeds & grass actually started to die within an hour!!! I used a gallon & easily switched to refill, so it was ready to go for any spots I missed. I actually just bought 2 more refills & should be set for the summer. I love this product, its ease of use & effectiveness.

I was very excited to buy this because I have so many weeds that I can’t remove them all. Unfortunately, while this works on some weeds — quite quickly— it doesn’t really work on everything and you have to use a lot of this product. The spray function was excellent and the smell is not bad. It’s nontoxic which is great! I think you can only use it on very broad leaf and tender weeds but not grasses or tough weeds. I went through a whole bottle pretty quickly and it’s too expensive to justify getting another one.

Great product, I have been searching for a safe alternative to kill weeds and grass and this is it! Smells like peppermint, easy to open and use. I just ordered a refill and all you do is squeeze to remove the wand applicator top from the old bottle and place it on the new one. It works quick, weeds gone!

This works in one hour and this bottle covers an entire large yard. It's is easy to rake up the dead weeds in a few minutes. Unlike other products the weeds don't regenerate in a few days or after a rain. The price is great and they have small spray bottle for tight area very well priced. This is a great product and my bees are not bothered at all. I will order again, fabulous product!

I needed something like this as my property is across from conservation land. so no toxic weed killers. plus we have lots of wildlife, our little dog and neighborhood pups...cats etc...i need to be mindful and hand weed...i was thrilled to see commercials for this...and doubly thrilled that it worked exactly how it promises...was having issues with those tiny rose of sharon pop ups that resemble clover...its been windy on cape cod so they were in all our mulch beds, along with some regular larger weeds.... the effects of the product were apparent almost immediately, and two applications did the trick for clearing the stragglers and the small areas i missed...so simple!...the application wand has a light and easy to direct spray, so you don't waste any product. no bending, kneeling, pulling, buckets or digging!! we have a lot of mulch beds so that previously ended up being a paid project for our landscapers and took three guys!! i was done spraying in under 20 minutes each time. saved so much money, and all it required was walking, point and spray!! i'm so happy!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Some of the reviews were 5-star, but I did not have that happen when I sprayed my weeds. I used the entire refill bottle on that usage. I have a small backyard and sprayed along all the edges of my yard. The bottle says it works in an hour, it does not. The weed did not die for 24-hours and it was sporadic. It’s been 4 days and it has only killed about 80% of the weeds. I am a generous weed sprayer with all products, but the results of this one was a little disappointing. For $25 it should’ve worked as specified on the bottle.

It works really well on the weeds and became soapy as described, downside is need to spray more than once. It smells very good and safe around pets. Definitely will order refills as the price is reasonable.
