The Oxseryn Portable Inverter Generator 2500W Gas Powered has been a fantastic addition to my gear. It delivers strong, consistent power whether Iโm using it for camping, tailgating, or as a backup during outages. The 2500W output is plenty for running appliances, tools, and electronics without worrying about surges or instability.What really stands out is how portable and easy to use it is โ itโs compact enough to transport, and the setup is straightforward right out of the box. This is 3rd time trying to review this generator.I know it's long but this isn't something tjat you would just use and discard. Longevity and dependability are what's important for a generator.I believe the generator is going to start and make electricity when the power goes out. It is economical in my limited testingIt ran for about 4 plus hours on variable load demands over that time on a half gallon of gas.รฝIn that half gallon of fuel I have changed the oil four times . The amount of metal that came out was exssive in my opinion. The first 2 changes had actual grit and a lot of it.. the 3 and 4th change had glitter in the oil .The generator is not a beast as some reviews state.. applying a load close to max will cause the generator to stumble. In ec mode it will overload and need to be reset. It did handle loads close to max wattage running several low demand items in my rv.. toaster oven and 45 amp power converter and fridge all at once.But would not run the microwave all alone. Even if I turned off the eco throttle.The entire side cover has to be removed in order to check the oil levelThe pull side cord cover doesn't come off .the case has to be removed to access that side of the engineNot good in my opinion.It does start on the first pull every timeI'm sure he power will be inverter clean and consistent .it will reliably run a house fridge with powe to spare for internet TV and lights..But itvis a light duty generator.I will run an 8000 btu window ac.Now if you're thinking just buy a more expensive generator all the generators in this size class use the same 80 cc engined made in the same factories in China.I got this on sale delivered for under 325 dollars.It is very quiet at most load levels. Normal speaking voice right next to it with a 600 watt load.it should give decent run time. At least 6 hours maybe more at half load. My 6500 watt genny would use more than half a gallon of gas an hour and is open frame so its loud as a motorcycle but it will run real loads and handle heavy start demand.. that is not how this is supposed yo be used.. 900 to 1500 watts is its safe load rating in my opinion. Starting anything more would overload it.It's for light emergency usage .. and recreational use.I hope it lasts many years but skepticalThe genny it replaced was a very old ryobi 2000 watt inverter unit. I tried parallel to a wen 2000 watt unit...fried the ryobi..it has no parallel ports.. the engine 80 cc still runs but no power.Can't get any parts for it...So in conclusion change the oil alot in first few hours.. dont expect a poeerhouse . It's a light weight unit.. for light duty usage.I just wanted to add an edit about the oil this generator take atvleast 16 us oz of oil..adding 12 oz of oil will get the generator to start but it could very well shut down on a low oil safety.. I did say that removing the side cover is the only way to check the oil level. I personally measure a bit over 16 oz in a container and will tip it slightly so that it won't leak out. I haven't actually had to check the oil level yet because I've changed instead..lol if you purchase this unit make sure you change the oil after a very short run. Get it hot amd change it.. in the half gallon of gas I've ran through it so far I've changed out about a half gallon of oil.. I going to run it again soon.June 13 2025Ok so I had teo 1 liter camping gas containers that I have for my coleman stoves. They had been filled last spring 2024. I opened them and they smelled fine and I coild see the bottom off the container so I thouhht I would run it through this genny and then change the oil. I was loading things into the camper so I figured I would use this to charge the batteries.I connected the rv power line before I started the generator. It started on one pull and then stalled out.. I assumed the rv main was on and it was trying to start the converter as it started and couldnt do it.. but I tried it again.. held the choke on a few seconds longer then opened it.. it started with a bit of a sputter but did start and runI them went in then went in the rv amd was shocked. No only was main on but the air conditioner was running.!! From a pull start l with old gas it was running the converter and the 15k btu dometic ac.. I was quite impressed.. I really did not think it would run it.. it wouild not run the microwave after all.. and I l know the ac unit needs about 2400 watts to start and about 1700 with the converter on.. I got those numbers fom a different generator that has a watt meter.. so there you have it.. even with regular gas from last year it started from a full stop witha 2400 Warr load..I shut off the sc unit amd waited about 10 mims and turned on the ac again. I believe the eco mode was on.. the blower motor started slowly but there was no stumble when the ac compression started. Air was blowing cold in just a couple of minutes.For the fact that it started the ac I am raising my review to 5 stars.It starts reliably and was able to produce the starting power to run the rv air conditioner.Oct 2025 reached out to the seller. And they were very helpful and took care of the concern that I had. Thank you for all your help. Wholly recommend this seller ..

First item arrived damaged in the shipping process. Seller was extremely helpful and shipped another out immediately. The Inverter Generator started up very quickly after filling with oil and gas. Has more than sufficient power for my emergency needs. Starts very easily. Very satisfied with the unit and the seller.

Good little generator, quiet, smooth, steady voltage output. The only fault I have is the generator takes 4-5 pulls to get it started. In its defence I am at 5200 ft. Elevation. I use it with my travel trailer and as a power backup at home.I would recommend it to anyone.

I purchased this generator 6 mos ago.I find its build quality to be excellent.Iโve broken it in for six hours with three oil changes, a bit excessive, but Iโm anal on service, and want to give it every chance for a long life.Bought mainly for fridge and my chest freezer in case of power outages, as I live on the west coast of Florida.So if I can give you the best advice to keep this generator running great, just stick to this routine, as it works for me.After break in , whenever putting it away for more than a week or so, drain the carb ,loosen carb screw and drain.When storing longer term, run tank dry, drain carb, take plug out, few drops marvel mystery oil, pull with plug out, then replace plug.When you go to start back up, will usually start first pull.Extra advice, change spark plug to an Ngk , remember to keep air filter clean, only use stabilized non ethyl fuel if possible.. keep spark arrestor clean, and should last very long time.I just pray the co sensor never malfunctions, as I have no idea how to bypass.If anyone knows the proper wires to cut and re route, please feel free to post it.I am very pleased with how quiet it is, and power output more than fits my needs.UPDATED 1/10/26have a 30 amp inlet box and lockout plate installed on garage wall circuit box.Thought only my bigger generator could handle my 1800 sq ft home, but found a inlet box 4 prong extension cord 25 ft, that has a regular three prong plug on the other end to plug into this small generator.Was shocked at what it ran , fridge, 5 ceiling fans on set to high speed, 5 table lamps, 12 led high hats, c-pap machine , 65 inch tv with internet modem , garage lights,hooked to kilo watt meter, didnโt break a sweat, power was at 950 watts, only half load, and had all the power I needed.Very pleased, might sell my bigger 4 k generator as this much more efficient on gas, and handles whatever I throw at it.Also I found changing out plug to a denso iridium plug really makes it run smooth, and spark plug will last generators life time.So all in all, extremely pleased with this overrun 2500 watt, 1800 running watt generator.

The media could not be loaded. It seems like nice generator,I put oil and gas in it and it fired right up,itโs pretty quiet .The only problem is the dimensions stated itโs 1 1/2 inches taller than expected so it didnโt fit in the spot I hoped to store it.

Out of the box,add 350 ml 10w30, a gallon of gasoline, open the fuel cap vent, turn the start switch to choke...pull the start cord and once it's running smoothly turn the switch to run. Couldn't be simpler...all necessary tools included.
