Sooooo it was a journey getting this up. First, the wood is solid, stable, and heavy. Great quality and looked just like the pictures!The instructions were easy to understand. **However, we did not use the anchors and screws that it came with. We didn’t have a stud. We only had dry wall, so we got dry wall anchors that held 100lbs (the mantle is about 30-40 lbs) and it held up great!

We had originally planned to purchase something reclaimed but we had specific sizing requirements which we couldn't find. I was a little hesitant because you just never know the quality but this turned out to be fantastic and half the cost. It had the exact measurements we were looking for and the color. When it arrived (and quickly too) it did not disappoint. Beautiful coloring and real wood. Super easy to install since it comes with everything needed to hang. It looks fantastic! Incrediably pleased with this purchase.

GORGEOUS!!! We were looking for an affordable mantel for our fireplace build and this was the largest size we could find for the price and it does NOT disappoint. Looks very expensive but is still lightweight and beautiful. Very sturdy as well and great size and thickness.

I used the mantel for my fireplace makeover. It gives my fireplace a simple and modern new look. The mantel is very heavy and sturdy. It's also very easy to install.The color I bought is the same as the picture in the product description. So far it's been working great for me.

I purchased the mantel in December. It was easy to install. And, it looked pretty good. In 6 months the sides are starting to come apart at the seams. It's NOT looking so good anymore.
