Didn't work in either of my vehicles.

They work if held in place due to most newer cars not being out fitted to accept lighters anymore. However, not a bad idea to have one incase you don't have a lighter or match handy. Priced very low at around $6. For 2 of them, its a great deal. You won't find any car lighters priced as low or higher that will work like they did in older cars so, be prepared to hold it in to get it hot..
