4.0 out of 5 stars Probably not your mother's pans, but nice
I'm determined to get rid of teflon & plastic in my kitchen, and though I have a couple of pieces of stainless steel cookware, I've never had a dedicated set before. These seem decent, but with a couple of quirks. They are heavy, attractive, and heat evenly. You do need to use some oil/fat when frying with ss, but that's OK. I've never had cookware that required 'assembly' before, which makes me skeptical, because the biggest issue I tend to have is handles that break/fall off and I see these becoming loose in short order. One pan handle in particular didn't seem to line up well or fit tightly. I actually like the lid with the silicone edges that can be used on different sized pans, but only one was included and I am sure there will be occasions when I need 2. I'm also not sure why they didn't make the lid for the large stock pot the same way so it could be used with the frying pan. I'm curious why the care instructions say not to scrub with an abrasive tool, since that is typically an advantage of ss, unless the manufacturer also makes coated cookware and the instructions are just a default version. I still use a stainless steel pot of my mom's that is 50+ years old. Sadly, I don't see my daughter using these in 50 years, but they are OK for a starter set.
5.0 out of 5 stars Chef Mode: Activated 🍳🔥 Cookware That’s Got Your Back!
I didn’t realize how much I needed a solid cookware upgrade until this set landed in my kitchen. First off, can we talk about the shine? These pots and pans are so sleek, I almost didn’t want to use them and mess up the aesthetic. But once I did? Game. Changer. They heat up super evenly, which means no more weird hot spots burning one side of your food while the other side is still doing its thing. I’ve tried everything from quick stir-fries to slow-simmered sauces, and everything cooks like a dream. Plus, the handles stay cool, which is a lifesaver for someone like me who always forgets to grab an oven mitt. 😂🙌And cleaning? Surprisingly easy. I was bracing for a scrubbing session, but these wipe down like a breeze, even after tackling some messy meals. They’ve totally stepped up my cooking game, and honestly, they just make me feel fancy in the kitchen—even when I’m just making scrambled eggs. 🍳✨If you’re looking for cookware that looks as good as it performs, this set is where it’s at. Your inner chef will thank you! 👩🍳🍝
5.0 out of 5 stars Nice
They are nicer than I was expecting. Good quality. Look great. Do their job.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great quality pots set
The pots and pan is have great look and touch of wood design. It looks very elegant and is durable and doesn't stick and easy to clean. The handle is sturdy and has good grip.
4.0 out of 5 stars Has carbon steel base
These are great looking pots and pan. The best quality SS pots are said not to have the add-on base and there was no place in the description that I could find out if it had them before buying. Some assembly required:The handles need to be screwed onto the pots and pan. They come with different sized screws. I found out the best order to assemble them was to start with the pan that had each piece marked for it, and then work from the largest pot to the smallest. Put the lock washer in, then the longest screw. Then go through each pot until you get to the smallest last. It is easy enough to add the handles and the knob on the top.Use your own screwdriver. It comes with a nice screwdriver, but it is too small for the screw heads. There are only two lids, and none fit the pan. The big pot has a lid, and then there is a single, small glass lid, with a rubberish material expanding outward so it covers each of the other pots. That surprised me, given the price of this set. I expected more. The bottom of the each piece is carbon steel of some sort and is attracted by a magnet. But, the sides are not at all attracted to the magnet. They are not very heavy, but they are not overly light. I like the feel of them and I especially like the looks with the handles on.I docked them 1 star in the rating because I could not find in advance if they were solid stainless and that they only had one shared lid.I just learned that some stainless only pots and pans cannot be detected by certain types of modern stoves, so the ferrous material may be necessary.I'm glad to get away from non-stick coating pans and am looking forward to learning how to use these. I think they are a great addition to my kitchen.
3.0 out of 5 stars Updated: stain easily when cooking. No lid for the pan but otherwise very nice set
Okay stainless set. It stained up with cooking just a couple of times. Going to try to buff it out with my electric scrubber but it shouldn’t be (imo) so tough to clean from the beginning. Don’t have high hopes for this staying “stainless” for long. You attach all the handles (~5 min). They have a little ring to keep the screws from loosening up over time (put the ring on the screw and then put the screw through the handle and screw it in). I do wish they had made a “universal” type of lid for the large pot and the pan—unfortunately the large pan has no lid (I will be ordering one for it separate I guess) but overall seems like a very nice set but it does seem odd to me that there is no lid option for the large pan. Otherwise, it’s a perfect little starter set for anyone needing a decently nice set of pots and a pan (family sizes of 1-2 people). Should be noted that the set comes with one universal lid for the three smaller pots, so if you need to use more than one with a lid you may have to get creative.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great set of stainless
I've been somewhat hesitant to get into cast iron from non-stick pans I am used to, but I wanted to give this set a try. I was easily able to assemble them and get them cooking, so that wasn't an issue. They ran through the dishwasher fine, though I will typically hand wash them so they last as long as possible. I have made a few meals and things as of now, and they've been amazing so far! The stainless when I have used it right has been really easy to clean, and I haven't had a ton of annoying sessions cleaning all the crap that has stuck to the pan yet. Overall I am happy with the set, and I'd recommend it
