Easy to assemble and very sturdy. The sizing is adjustable is a unique way. The metal side pieces are scored and breaks off by bending off table edge so it is a sturdy solid piece that fits perfectly to the size of the drawer. I’ve used others in the past that telescope to adjust size and it gradually shortens from the momentum of heavy files pulling it back every time closed the drawer.

These do the job and are sturdy in the file cabinet. Just one negative... unclear assembly directions. I broke off a little more than I needed to but it worked to my advantage.

We inherited an old wooden desk which has long narrow drawers (too narrow to fit hanging files front to back). The files would need to go in the drawer left to right, so we needed an adjustable Pendaflex-style system that would go quite narrow (maybe 11.5 inches). This was exactly what we needed. It definitely takes two people to assemble (one to hold pcs in place, one to fit the screws). But it works perfectly for our need.

The top pieces that span from the left rail to the right rail were not included in the box. UPDATED: I received the replacement set, and this time all parts were included -- even a sheet of assembly instructions. However, I'll be returning them again, because, as other reviewers have said, THE SCREWS ARE TOO SHORT to fully secure the top rails to the frame. Further, the machined holes are not well-matched to the screws, so the screws don't seat well into them. Not to mention that the entire assembly (if you manage to get it to hold together) isn't long enough to fill a standard filing cabinet drawer. I regret having lost two weeks in monkeying around with these -- will have to go to a legitimate office supply store and look for something that actually works.

This was tedious to assemble because the screws are so small, and the product is somewhat out of alignment upon completion. I bought this brand only because the much more satisfactory Officemate which I had purchased previously was not available for delivery quite so quick. I regret my decision.
