The item is good. I took it all apart and cleaned everything. Honed all the surfaces and reoiled. Now it works.The handles were absolutely trash I had to make spacers for the handles on my lathe cause they had just a screw holding it on with tons of slop. Now those are good.The ways and not that good either but I don't plan on doing anything that requires much precision so it'll do.

Very stable with the ability to add digitals for DRO. We used for a Bowling Ball drill press and it is easily the best value on the market.

I will concur with other folks who rated this as unfinished, but "good enough"I am quite happy with the purchase: it arrived quickly and let me safely do a slot cutting job in about an hour that would have taken me a day or more to do by drilling and filing. The 4 bolt down holes in the lower section do not line up with the 4 slots in my circular drill press table and so it is currently attached using only 2 bolts. The T-slots are not full width and so I had to file the T-slot nuts to fit, but once that was done the nuts slide smoothly and let me attach the visegrip work piece hold-down clamps. I will eventually take it apart and detail the castings to get the X-Y operations a bit smoother and I do understand that this does not really turn my drillpress into a milling machine, but I successfully cut 24 slots 3/8" wide and an inch long, in a bunch of 1/4" thick 7000 series aluminum plates using a 1/4" endmill, so I'd call it a bargain.

Handles didn’t fit and bolts in the slots had to be ground to fit the irregular cast pieces. Shipping oil is pretty intense. It took 2 cans of brake cleaner to get it all off.
