Elly Marcel’s 2024 film “Venom: The Last Dance” concludes the Venom trilogy from Sony’s Spider-Man Universe featuring Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock/Venom. The story adapts the recent comic storyline featuring Knull (Andy Serkis), the god of the symbiotes, created by Donny Cates and Ryan Stegman. It begins with Eddie’s universal displacement following the events of “Spider-Man: No Way Home” before he jumps back to his own universe. Eddie is on the run following the events of his run in with Carnage from the previous film and is being tracked by a Xenophage. Rex Strickland (Chiwetel Ejiofor), an Area 51 employee, is tracking symbiotes who recently fell to earth for capture and study. This leads to a cross-country chase as Eddie/Venom seeks to avoid the Xenophage, who was sent by Knull, and find a way to work with Strickland and avoid the various people bonded with symbiotes, including Sadie Christmas (Clark Backo), Nova Moon (Alanna Ubach), and more. There is also a great scene of Mrs. Chen (Peggy Lu), who has become a standout character in this franchise.The story is a fitting conclusion to the “Venom” trilogy and keeps with its sense of fun. Though Tom Hardy’s Venom has yet to meet Spider-Man, he holds his own and is a fantastic antihero. This Blu-ray and 4K steelbook is a fantastic addition to movie-buffs’ home media collections. Bonus features include deleted and extended scenes, a look at Tom Hardy’s acting process, an examination of the film’s stunts, pre-vis looks at scenes, a music video à la “Hero” from the first Spider-Man film, and more.

One of the best action packed films I’ve seen in a while! The movie came perfect, no issues. The 4k looks great on the 4k tv as well. Very crisp and clear. This is a great value for the 4k blu ray combo. I tend to wait awhile to buy them so the price goes down! Haha!!! I recommend it!Prove at the time of purchase and review 29.96

As a long-time fan of the Venom series, I was eagerly anticipating the release of the third instalment, and it did not disappoint! "Venom: The Last Dance" is a fantastic mix of action, comedy, and some surprising twists that keep you on the edge of your seat, especially during the climax.Venom: The Last Dance" is a thrilling cinematic experience that masterfully blends action, humor, and a deep dive into the complex relationship between Eddie Brock and his symbiotic counterpart, Venom. Whether you're a long-time follower of the Venom saga or a newcomer, this film is sure to leave you exhilarated and eager for more. Highly recommended!

The movies are lot of fun, especially if your invested in Eddie and Venom. I know the characters are wildly different from the comics, but it ok. If you look at it as a different universe version of Venom then why shouldn't he/they be different. It all comes down to, does the movie entertain you. For me it's a yes, the movies have never been marvel level threat status and that's ok. A fun little journey that lasted long enough and didn't wear itself out. As far as the disk goes, standard high quality transfer in 4k with great looking dolby vision and atmos. For all the negative reviews about the price, it did come down to below the normal price for a steelbook.
