This is a lower cost machine. I used it to pack a building foundation and when backfilling trenches for water and sewer. It has worked perfect. The muffler guard fell off as others have stated in their reviews. Overall it works great. I have used it about 15 hrs. total.

Absolute GARBAGE!! the motor is strong, it runs great and compacts perfectly. The problem is it literally destroys itself by not being made for the impact/vibration of its own function. Withing the first few days the muffler literally broke and fell off. The mounts, the welds, everything just broke itself apart. Then within a month the entire pull-starter assembly broke off the machine, not from pulling it, the assembly fell off while using it. The brackets broke off and can't even be fixed. I considered the risked of buying the same thing at the auctions, thank God I bought it through Bolo and got the insurance, it didn't last a month.
